Game changer for my elderly dog
My 15yr old standard dachshund slipped off the bed in January. I turned for a second and when I turned back she was on the floor on her back. No yip or sounds of pain. I just picked her back up and put her on the bed. A couple days later is when she started showing signs of pain and not using her legs. A trip to the vet showed a herniated disk and they expected her to heal in a couple weeks if she was kept quiet and low activity. Not hard for my old lady. Well she didn't start showing signs of any kind of improvement until March. I had acupuncture scheduled and we have been doing that and things have significantly improved. The only thing is on smooth floors, hard wood, linoleum, tile etc, she wouldn't be able to stand and walk. Carpet, outside, cement drive way, she was fine. Wobbly but could walk. My acupuncturist mentioned stickers for their feet and I came straight to Amazon and found these. These things are GAME CHANGERS! She has her independence now, she is getting stronger and stronger being able to walk around the house when she wants to. We still use the harness outside for potty time because she still isn't quite strong enough to maintain a squat, but overall I think this has made her happier, stronger and well on her way to a full recovery. My vet is blown away and had never seen them before. She said she will be telling several other patients about them.Helpful tips:If you aren't sure, get smaller. If they are too big they will fold over like a floppy sticker. They are like a k-tape/fabric bandaid material with the puffy paint/grip on the bottoms. I keep them on her for 2-3 days at a time. She is a long hair dachshund, so I make sure her hair between her paw pads is as short as I can get it so the sticker doesn't pull on it when I'm changing them out. They come off easiest with water, but stay on well in dewy or wet grass as long as they are on the paw pads well. They don't seem to bother her, she doesn't lick her feet or pull on them. But her personality is pretty compliant and agreeable.I will keep buying these until she doesn't need them anymore. If this is what she needs for the rest of her life to help her walk, then this is what she will get.

Great short term solution
Update: Sticky solution: My vet recommended "Skin-Tac" wipes and this product has really helped the grips stay on for about a week at a time. If they get wet, the grips do fall off but this is an improvement for sure. (I also purchased Uni-Solve remover wipes in case I need to remove them painlessly for any reason.)Original Review: These work wonderfully, for about 2-3 days at a time. I tried to clean my dog's pads with alcohol and stick/press the grips on after the alcohol dried, but they still come off unfortunately, even after trimming the fur between toes and nails. These work so well that I may just put up with it, much more effective than toe grips. For sizing: my dog measures as a M per the chart (1.5"), but they were much too big (I was cutting more than half of the grip off). I would recommend going down a size if you have a small dog who is in between sizes too, because although you can trim them to size, you either trim some of the grippy spots off or you trim right up to the grippy spots, which I think tends to pull the grips off the dog's pads quicker. If you have a larger dog, you will have more wiggle room I think.

Mehh
These stickers are basically grippy kinesiology tape. So paw prep and time for adhesion is super important to get these to stick well.I had the best success cutting out individual pad pieces. My dog got the (old lady) zoomies after application and three fell off immediately. If you have a pup who will lay down or not get super excitable after application this might be more helpful. She then proceeded to lick the remaining stickers off over the course of three days. She was not a fan. I decided it wasn’t worth stressing her out to continue using this product after 3 applications. No issues with the quality of the product or the adhesive. Just wasn’t right for my dog. For reference she’s an 11 year old, 95 pound mastiff.

Not for outside
They work inside but won't stick for long outside especially on males when they start kicking against the ground to leave their scent. In all honesty I don't suppose a safe anti slip paw can be made. After all you can't just put some strong glue there.
