OtterBox Commuter Case for HTC One M9 - Frustration-Free Packaging - Cool Melon FFP

I bought this case for my phone and I love it. I love the color and the protection that it gives my phone. I am a very clumsy person and I drop my phone just about everywhere and anywhere, but this case has really protected my phone from any drops it has received since I put it on. The bottom has a flap that cover the headphone insert and the charging port, which I find really nifty and useful at keeping out dirt. There is a random hole on the top, not sure why it is there, but it doesn't distract from the phone case at all. I recommend Otterbox if you're looking for a case that will really protect your phone.

I just purchased a new HTC One M9 the week of thanksgiving, and needed a good case for my new phone. I had a otterbox case for my LG G4 as well. I have tried several cases over the years on my phones I've had in the past. There is nothing that comes close to the otterbox products when it comes to protecting a phone. I have dropped my previous phone multiple times, and no dents or cracks! I'm not sure about the screen protector that it comes with as I use the tempered glass Invisible shield Brand (which I highly recommend as well). I am the type to drop my phone constantly and in need of a really good case for my phone. This definitely does the job. I recommend it to all my friends and family. I used to work for a large electronic retailer, and I always recommended this case to all my customers as well. I purchased the melon color, and the color is just a tad brighter in person which I loved! The other thing I really love about this case, is that It really fits like a glove, and if I need to take it off, it easily comes off as well! The case is not bulky like the otterbox defender case (which would be great for construction workers). The size is perfect.

First off, the description said it came with a screen protector, when it didn't and I messaged the seller they said that this was an error in the description and it wasn't intended to come with a screen protector so if that is your deciding point you may want to message the seller to be sure before you buy. As for the case itself, it's nice and goes on easy but fits snuggly. It is a bit bulky and the white is more eggshell so if you're looking for a clean vibrant white you won't find it in this case. That said, this case isn't nearly as slippery as other cases I've tried and it feels solid in the hand. I don't like the cover for the charging port, it is stiff and seems to put pressure on the charging cable so I will likely actually cut that part off to avoid damage to the charging port and/or cable.

I am pleased with this product, though I wish it had a cover on the front - but that was my fault due to the fact that I didn't actually check what the posting had listed. Other than that, the price was fantastic for the quality of product, OtterBox has been one of my go-to brands for phone cases for years. I will say, that the lighter area looks white in the picture, but is actually a pale mint color. The picture shows it exactly. but if you are like me, you would assume that its just shade. Overall, the case is protective, cute, and inexpensive!

After 4 months of use, Otterbox's Commuter Case for HTC One M9 has definitely proven to be worth the $25. It might have been a bit costly for a phone case, but after multiple drops over 4 feet, it has shown its worth. While I do have a glass screen protector on my phone, I would trust the cover to protect my phone on its own. There is a rubber lip that keeps the screen off hard surfaces, so if it falls face down, it doesn’t hit a flat surface. The rubber inner case also covered the buttons, which work with no difficulty. There is a rubber flap that also covers the charging and headphone inputs. I expected that piece to be tearing off by now, but it still fits snugly. The outer hard case has a few scuffs on it, but that’s to be expected after dropping it while getting out of a parked car multiple times. This was my first Otterbox phone case, but I would definitely trust this brand again in the future.

Otter box makes the best cases! I've had the HTC One M9 and this case for about a month now and love it just as much as my last 3 otter boxes! The case, like always, is very well made. It has two parts to the case, 2 layers of protection. It doesn't make the phone that much bigger or feel bulky. It's a perfect size. Another great thing about otter box is they hold up, so the case lasts the life of the phone!

The colors are beautiful! Mostly periwinkle with a darker purple inside. All the buttons function well. The USB charger port is covered up by the case but this is good for protection from water. And since I only charge once a day it's not a big deal to open it up then. I like that this raised bezel on this otterbox is not rubbery like my last one which got discolored from my jeans pocket!!! Love the case and love my new phone!

Exactly as described. I've been using this same case for over a year now. It's beyond great. It's safely protected my phone from all the drops because it "bounces" on the soft rubber corners. This is the only brand that I would buy. Period.

I was kind of disappointed when I couldn't find Otterbox originally for my phone a few months ago and pleased when I saw it now even though it looks like it's being shipped from a 3rd party seller, the price still wasn't too terrible and at least I didn't have to go out into retail land and try to find it. It arrived in time and was new in box just as it is described. I like that the otterbox cases because they are sleek and professional, it feels secure and is in one piece that doens't feel like it's going to stretch or fade over time. It's great as a commuter because it's slim enough to slip into the holder while I'm driving. I'm very happy that I took the recommendation to buy the otterbox case and would recommend it to anyone else looking for the same features.

Otterbox cases are the best. Incredibly protective, but a bit bulkier than some. If you're rough with your phone, this is HIGHLY recommended.
