Easy, peasy, crystals are not cheesy.
REMOVE THE 0FILM before applying the crystal layer!!!Super easy to apply.I’ve purchased other brands in the past with the pebble-like pattern and although I’ve been looking at this brand and pattern for a while, I just now decided to pull the trigger.Well, this one is even easier to apply and I love the pattern. And it actually is happier and more iridescent than the pebble one.I purchased 3 rolls and used them on 6 windows.I am actually buying 1 more roll because the last window looks a bit like patchwork. No one can tell, by the way, that I covered one window with leftovers because of the pattern. But I can, and for the price, why not?!?Ps- I use these for privacy. I love my blinds open during the day, but the creep across the street like them open a little too much. He takes his phone calls facing my house and on the edge of the driveway. This morning when he went to do his “Schpiel”, I looked right at his face and applied the film. It was priceless.By the way, I clean my windows with pure vinegar prior to applying and then I apply the already cut to size piece whilst a little wet. In my experience, it clings better than water. I’ve been buying these since 2022 and have moved 4 times since then (yikes. Just realised this 😅🙈)Highly recommend it!!!!!

Pretty and works!
Very easy to install for the most part! Just make sure you have all the right tools on hand you would need a spray bottle with some soap and a measuring tape and some sort of sharp knife.Pretty high-quality hasn’t budged since I put it on. Very pretty when the sun shines through little rainbows are in my living room. Definitely not easy to see through when looking in from outside, which was my intended purpose. It adds more privacy and also a cute look on the inside. Very easy to peel off as well! Very apartment friendly! My favorite part is looking at the rainbows that shine through on my floor or on my pets when they’re basking in the sun!

Add to cart!
This is so cool! I love the option to put up a privacy screen that’s not ivy or florals. I got the grayish/silver color. The instructions are clear, but if you’re reading this make sure you have a utility or craft knife and a squeegee (although I credit card would work in a pinch) to ease installation. You’ll also need soapy water and a towel, which I wasn’t expecting. It’s really pretty and unique, and I’m glad we got it. It seems to peel off easily but if you cut it well that shouldn’t be an issue. It’s not super thin so it seems durable and is a great value. These photos aren’t in direct sunlight, and the colors from our progress flag are shining through in the second photo. When direct sunlight hits it, it’s gorgeous!

Cute, but not very private.
It’s privacy film. But not really. Install was very easy with water and a squeegee. I put these on my original 1950s single pane glass windows. I bought this because it was more attractive than a dark UV reflective window cover, which is what I really wanted. Something to reflect some of the sun’s heat. This window gets a ton of sun and gets very warm, and has faded every single curtain I’ve put in front of it. The pattern and the rainbow effect is attractive, but it’s far less private than I took it for. If you’re right up on the window, you can see straight through it very easily. Which makes sense, in order to cast rainbows, it has to let sunlight through. So from far away, it is slightly more private. If it’s dark inside your house, you can’t see through it during the day. At night, though it’s pretty much see-through if it’s dark outside and light inside. I’m not really trusting the privacy of this, but it is cute and was an easy install.

Exceeds expectations. Beautiful day or night.
The prismatic effects of this film are truly better than advertised, if you get direct sun on the window, the film will appear so bright and you won't see much color in the film, but your room will be covered in an aurora of colors that has to be seen to be appreciated. So much better than crystals or prisms which never give you a room awash in colors like these. The effects when cloudy are also interesting because without the excess brightness, you see colors in the film itself, that change hue as you move in the room, they also change hue if clouds create a light/dark oscillation in brightness. Night brings even more fun as outside lampposts or street lights send deep colors into the film depending on angle and brightness. These are the richest of all the colors I've seen in this product. I only wish I had more windows I could use this in. Of all the window treatments I've done over the years in my work, using films of all types, especially for lighting effects, this is one of my top three favorites to enjoy everyday.I loved the quality and heft of the vinyl, definitely not flimsy or brittle like some commercial tinting films. The backing comes off smoothly and doesn't leave much static to attract stray hairs or lint, if you happen to be doing this on carpet instead of a cutting table, as I had to do. I simply sprayed the film after spraying the window and the film was very easy to make flat in a rapid fashion. Using a plastic spreader (like you would mix and spread bondo with) and using light strokes made the film bubble-less in less than a minute. Note this was being installed in triangular dormer windows over seven feet off the floor, so ease of use was paramount on a ladder. The heft of the film made bubbles almost non existent, a great plus. The film definitely requires you to use a brand new razor blade, due to it's thickness, and you must use the edge of your spatula or spreader to hold the film tight to your cutting edge, while you run the blade making the cut, slide the spreader along with the blade. This will insure a super accurate cut and prevent the film from trying to buckle if you were free cutting it and your blade wasn't as sharp as a razor blade.Pro tip: It also insures that any excess liquid under the film gets squeegee-ed out as you cut, making a simple wipe down with paper towels all you need to ensure no edges are left peeling back due to a bad cut and no pressure being applied while the cut is made. (Note: razor knifes are not as thin bladed and will not pass easily thru this film.) I was able to carefully trim both windows this way in less than 20 minutes.Take your time, measure carefully, dry fit and trim major excess down to approx 1/2 inch oversize on all edges, clean glass with good cleaner, (Pro tip: use a razor blade to scrape the glass first, to lift long term film that will build up on glass, as well as any foreign matter or like excess sealant along the edge of the window frame that needs to be cut back, you will see a big difference in your final project I promise, then clean.), mix up a few drops of dishwashing liquid in a small sprayer with filtered water, if possible, to use as the lubricant and you are ready to peel, spray, position and trim. You too, can do it like a pro! Enjoy the rainbow auroras.

Cheap and good
I also purchased a vinyl application kit to help install and everything worked perfectly. Easy and pretty. Staying on great.

Beautiful rainbow film
The best thing about this window film is the rainbow pattern that is created by the sunlight coming through it into my room. Plus it was very simple to install.
