Excellent device. Measures the temperature anywhere with one click of a button. Small, only an inch and 1/2 in length. Measures surface temperature, air, substrate, water or the reptile itself. Just one click and you have a very accurate digital temperature. Lithium battery in the unit so it's ready to use . No complicated set up. Just turn it on and click where you need it. A must have for any reptile enthusiast. Very glad I bought this product! Fast shipping and well packaged. Would buy again but I suspect that would be years from now if ever. I highly recommend!

I really hope for bathwater and checking the temperature in the cage. I can’t really speak for accuracy, but it definitely is in the same ballpark of what the temperature is considering the size that’s pretty amazing and I really like not have a giant thermometer gun taking up space.

I use this for my beardie's tank to check temps. Works well, I really like it. Much easier to get an accurate reading for certain spots than my little gauge type kind I keep on the sides of her tank. I really like that it shows the ambient temp of the room when you're not using it, very helpful.

I have used other's. This is by far the best. I read many reviews on so many different brands of digital thermometers, and this particular one kept popping up. It has a digital setting display, and is very simple to operate, as all that is required is a point and click function. I find that it is extremely accurate. I usually open the top of my bearded dragon's tank and take the temperature from the inside, but you can still get an accurate read by pointing it the outside of the glass.I would recommend this brand as low-cost, good quality option.

Works okay but it’s not completely accurate

This arrived yesteday, and I tested it out and I am truly happy with it. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It accurately documents it's limitations and functions. It has functions beyond the use I have for it, but I tested them and they all work well.I got readings very quickly, nearly instantaneously and accurately. Per the documentation that comes with it. you will not get accurate temperatures through glass or metal screens. You will get accurate surface temps of pretty much anything within it's range; Water, skin temperature, etc...I have used analog thermometers on my reptile habitats for ages, and was never happy with them. They are hard to read through glass and notoriously inaccurate. This device will solve that problem. You will not regret buying one.

Absolutely love it! Point at object and quickly get temperature! I use it for my iguanas'body temp, the bath water temp and even checked mine!Accurate, checked it against my human thermometer and 2 other thermometers in iguanas enclosure. Even verified room air to my home thermostat.Much easier than trying to hold a thermometer against the iguana. Non intrusive to him. Perfect bath temp is awesome, as opposed to feel because my hands are cold at time.Highly recommend for reptiles=)

Wonderful tool to have for any reptile keeper. Lots of additional features i did not expect, like the ability to find the coolest temperature in an area as well as the highest.

this temp item is a must for any reptile keeper and should be part and parcel of reptile keeping as the analog temps are usually way off.

Good product seems to work well so far. My only complaint is this old style packaging that is IMPOSSIBLE to open lol. I hate these open-proof packages. I cut into it and ruined the whole instruction page.
