The Beast (Wicked Villains Book 4)

This book is great and its a wonderful twist. Weird to hear these characters doing these kind of things but it was great.

Katee Robert is my KWEEN! THE Beast is another incredible book from the Wicked Villains series! This one is all about the complicated relationship between the 3 MC’s. Isabelle dated both Beast and Gaeton in the past, but couldn’t choose between them. So this time around they try something new… a relationship all together.I’m obsessed with this series! It’s so much fun and super HOT! 🥵 I also like how we start to see a bridge between this and the Sabine Valley series. I love when an author’s different series connect. It just adds another element to the stories!If you haven’t read any of her books, love Disney and want a place to start, the Wicked Villains series is the place to start! It was my gateway into the dark and smutty mind of Katee Robert!

the 4th of 7 in the Wicked Villains series. I read this book in 2 days. I seriously could not put this book down. If you are looking for a second chance work, this one is it and I highly recommend. SPOILER ALERT: Set up in A Worthy Opponent, this is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast with lots and lots of spice (I didn’t think these books could get spicier and then BAM- cue the heavy loads of FIRE these 3 create). This is set a few months after The Man in Black has passed away and Isabelle needs to convince her territories two best generals- Gaeton and Beast- to come back to keep their territory safe from Ursa. Both hurt by Isabelle’s inability to pick one of them before from their last attempt at a relationship, Beast brokers a deal, with a very reluctant Gaeton that would bring them back. Two weeks to do whatever they want to Isabelle, no restrictions, and after the two weeks is up she has to ultimately choose one once and for all. I will say the first few chapters are sort of rough to get through- they are both so hurt by Isabelle that there are time when they straight up use her without regard for anything (she always has her safeword to invoke so she is never in any real danger it just gets a big gnarly in the beginning). One thing I loved was how the three of them never lost any of the feelings they had for each other. I was also pleasantly surprised at how seamless the relationship between Beast and Gaeton grew and evolved throughout the story. Gaeton certainly takes some time in getting to the same realization that Beast has very early on in their arrangement, but the roads that they take there are certainly hot and full of spice. The ending was also one that was not very heavy in terms of a power struggle and violent acts that have been seen in the past few books which I found myself enjoying.

Every time I read this series it gets better! I need to get the Olympus series too now. Perfect in every way. The characters are all different and unique while still following their fairy tale counterparts the world just gets deeper without being repetitive it’s a series worth reading

Ok so you don’t really read these books for the plot these are like purely smut with a dash of plot. No one writes a MMF romance like Katee! I love the way she writes throuples and i enjoyed this one! I also really enjoy these narrators.

Loved this book so much just as the others pulls you right in. Can't wait to continue the series and see what happens.

This is such a fun series and me being me I was of course excited for this one. I love all things Beauty and the Beast inspired. This one didn’t turn out to be my favorite the way I anticipated it would, but it was still a lot of fun. This was a quick read with solid characters and is a good addition to the series.

I want to say that the title of this review is a double entrandre... and it is I guess.There is so much lovely smut in this book, thoroughly enjoyed all of it. My only critique is that the end is abrupt drama that is dealt with (almost) unreasonably quickly, everything is wrapped up in a nice little bow then it's back to the smutty-ness and a cute ending. All of the plot progression happened in the last 4 chapters, and while I understand that this is mostly written for the smut, the story is good. I would love to see more of it.The world created has so much potential with the steady threat of violence.

All the book seems that they only make choices in the heat of the moment. It's a lot as "let's try this and hope it works otherwise I think in something else".Beats over and over again show that it's not a made up moment decision but we are unable to understand when he came with the idea and it's frustrating!It was more than obvious that Izzy will never choose Gaston or Beats. It was more than clear in the previous books that she was unable to do such a thing....The plot was so promising that I got shattered when it was not as expected.

I'll always have a soft spot for this series in my heart.Gaeton and Beast appeared in previous books and I've always been curious about them.They acted like they hated each other, yet had this wicked chemistry.Now we know why.Isabelle is perfect for them. The missing piece of the puzzle. No idea why they didn't think of this before. Maybe because they thought they really did hate each other?Interesting turn of events at the end. Excited to see what's next.

The is is my favourite in the series so far!Beast, Gaeton and Isabelle have knocked Hades, Meg and Hercules off the top spot!There was definitely less mafia plot in this one, and it’s 100% the spiciest in the series so far. But did that stop me from falling in love with these characters? No.I started off a bit iffy about Isabelle, from what I’d heard of her in the last books she played Beast and Gaeton against each other, so I went in not thinking I’d like her. But oh how wrong I was, I warmed up to her almost instantly, after hearing her side of things and what actually happened, I was sold.I loved watching Beast be so instantly open to the fact that he had feelings for Gaeton and how he was going to stop at nothing for the three of them to be together. I was sure that he was gonna be the one that was going to need convincing.I loved Gaeton, he can be a complete golden retriever at times. I loved seeing how he worked through his feelings towards the two of them.I could read about these three forever, I’m so completely invested in their story and their sex lives😂

When I heard of the wicked Villains series, I looked forward to reading The Beast and Learn my lesson the most. I convinced myself to read them in the right order though and I am so glad I did. In order to understand the storyline you really need to know everything from beginning to end. I loved the other books so much, but The Beast is just toooo much DRAMA... at least that's my opinion. An ok read but nothing overwhelmingly good.
