Beautiful Design, Very Functional - but can get scratched if you are not careful
I used this item on 20 dives over 4 days. Mine was the lens for 20-50 feet but it works well at 80 feet too. Good that the air bubbles disperse from the lens space (between red lens and GroPro case) and the lens stays closed even when being jarred from the recoil of a spear gun (I attache the camera to my spear gun. Upon the service, on dry land, you can easily flip the lens open to film with the standard GoPro set-up, making this a perfect product. This is a great product because the other lenses tend to fall off easily or they trap air bubbles thus degrading the video. ONE NOTE: The lens can scratch so you need to be careful of this. What they should include with this product is a protective cover to put on the lens when it is not in use. This is the only thing missing from the product. Perhaps a piece of plastic to cover the lens when still on the camera and in a gear bag or on the boat where it can get knocked around.

Great if you're staying shallow, otherwise get the two filter model.
Really solidly built and the filter works well at the stated range. However, I purchased the single flip because some reviewers of the two filter model complained that the filters did not lock into place when not in use. In actuality, the filters lock very strongly into place, you just have to flip them back far enough. If I had to do it over again, I would purchase the two filter model so that I could switch to the deep dive filter at extended depths.

dont buy the cheap ones. this is high quality and you can tell. its nice to be able to flip the thing back and on depending on depth/usage purpose. wont fall off like some of the crap ones and the color is true to what it should be at suggested depths. and the frame or whatever cannot be seen in the photo

Flip 4 for Hero3
After searching and researching I decided on this and I LOVE IT! Wish I could’ve ordered it 2 weeks sooner but that’s how long it took me to decide on a filter for my GoPro. It fits perfectly on the dive housing and comes with an adapter for the standard housing.

Works well
Really worked well. It does scratch easily so be careful. Highly recommend that a scratch sealer be added to it if possible. My slight scratched didn't show up in the film.

Great product
Results were phenomenal.. Just returned from Cozumel and took amazing videos.. The color reproduction was perfect, couldn't be happier with this filter.. No flashlight needed unless going through a swim through.. Used it on my new Gopro 4 silver.. Most videos were taken around 40 to 50 feet with plenty of ambient light..
