Enjoyable, Engaging and Messy Fun!
'Science 4 You'Despite the brand name, this is actually a well thought out science/gardening set. I say science, as each step is nicely laid out for our little to follow, step by step much like an experiment, with helpful diagrams to assist her and heaps of information for learning along the way.Theres a number if experiments the kids can do, allied out in the handy, colourful booklet. If I had any criticism, it would be that the language isnt always grammatically correct. The language is however, simple enough to follow, our daughter is only five (suited for age 4 upwards), so a portion of adult supervision was necessary to understand the sections of the booklet better. We glazed over portions which would be more suited, educationally for older children. We did find that this set was very versatile for the older children too. You're supplied with three packs of seeds form a "lucky dip" of six.We were sent, green beans, radish and cantaloupe melon. The melon was a very confusing addition for the English climate. Definitely not one suited for a budding new gardener. In any case, our daughter loves melon so she insisted on planting it.If we get any fruit, I will most definitelyupdaye this review! The kit itself is basic but well thought out: disposable plastic tray, 1 pipette, some stickers that need to be cut out, a few plant labels, a basic set of tiny gardening tools, a bag of soil. You'll need more soil to do all the experiments. All cute, nothing screams 'expensive'. I'd say it was priced correctly at £15.This experiments are much more engaging than any set available to me as a child. Our daughter revelled in undergoing the experiments. Mostly done on her own.We eagerly watch and wait, for the fruits of her labour, to flourish! For £15, a fun ittle kit with everything you need to become a gardener, all you need is an ounce of determination and a pipette full of water.4 stars.

Shopping trip may be needed before you start. 🛍
Having 4 children all at different schools and with this Covid - 19 going around I have had a lot of company over these past weeks as they have all been self isolating due to the schools being closed - thank god you only need to self isolate for 10 days now !Getting my older ones to actually do school work has been a nightmare so these Science kits have been a life saver, we have had the chance to try so many different ones. This is the Little farmer kit which has a bargain retail price of just under £10.00, before you try recycling the box remember this acts like a table for the experiments. My daughter can’t wait to provide the vegetable for the Sunday roast - Carrots and green beans (PMSL).A great instruction booklet which gives you step by step, even my youngest daughter could follow it without much help from me.The other sets we have tried came with nearly everything that was needed but this set needed a lot of extra stuff like Clay and bits that you wouldn’t have lying around the house so a shopping trip was needed before we could get started. We have learnt things from how to start a farm, how plants live, what they need to go and much more from just a little box and hopefully at the end of we will have some cress to add to our egg mayonnaise sandwiches. It also included a bit of art work (bookmark making, scented bags) and a recipe book with what you could make with the stuff you were growing.A another great set and can’t wait to use the next one we have.

Great Educational aspect - Easy to do with your child - Use in & outdoors no garden needed
This is a really fun activity to do with your child which will start touching on some of the points about where your food come from and how to grow your own. Most of the things in the kit can be done either in or outdoors which means if you just have a windowsill or balcony you'll still be able to enjoy this kit with your child. There's a few extras that you may need like clay soil for certain experiments so you may want to bear that in mind when you open the kit and identify what you can do without the requirement for anything else. I am trying to use this as a springboard to encourage my little one to get a small outdoor greenhouse to maybe try and grow some fruit and some tomatoes next year. Do you think you may need to be wary of is if you are completing this outside you need to ensure you are doing it at the right time of year.

Absolutely Brilliant Fun - No WIFI Required!
Science 4 You Eco-Science range Little Farmer. This is my second encounter with the Science4you band of games at activities. I’m happy to report this LITTLE FARMER set is absolutely brilliant. The moment you open the box there’s so much to see and touch. The set is full too bursting with 12 different experiments and ALL the needed components are supplied, with the exception of simple item, that you’re sure to have around the home. The user booklet is clearly written and each experiment is clearly detailed with both text and diagrams. This particular set is aimed at ages 4+, and I’m sure any child and parent will have so much fun with this kit. What is another plus point is this isn’t an activity that can be done in half and hour, then forgotten about. You will have at least 12 days of fun, in fact even longer while you wait for your own vegetables to grow!Overall for the purchase of £15.00 at time of writing, its worth every penny and more!. It’s old school fun, and the best bit not batteries or WIFI required.FIVE STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️[4 images attached]
