Quality dipping tools from well known and respected manufacturer
If you have done any bakeshop pastry work, you should be familiar with the company Ateco. They make tons of products for pastry chef professionals and amateurs (like me). I use Aetco's products like their waxed bags, pastry tips and polyvinyl plastic connectors and they're excellent.Their dipping tool is a great value and easy to use (even my very 1st time) and they're east clean. It comes with a large and seemingly comprehensive varieties of tool end tips to choose from. They have got you covered!!As a novice, I have only used a few different ones in the set as I am only using them to dip ganaches into tempered chocolate. . But sometimes, I have weird piped ganache centers that require me to choose a different end dip tool and they worked great.--I don't have any pix of me using the tools "in action" since I am busy managing ganaches and the tempered chocolate.. both time sensitive and temperature critical so I am not taking pictures then. Before pix - tempering the chocolate with an ice bath -- dipping tools at the ready :-)After pix - one of 3 sheets of hand made, hand dipped Belgian style dark chocolate truffles

Chocolate dipper
I like the fact that I won't be getting my finger all full of chocolate any more. Works great.

Chocolate dip
Worked great. The chocolate was thick on the candy but everyone said extra chocolate is not a problem.

Better peanut butter balls
If you are using toothpicks or spoons in your chocolate coating process, stop. Buy this. So much easier and the proper amount of chocolate.

Great for Dipping Items Into Chocolate
I love to make Oreo truffles during the holidays but always found that dipping the items into chocolate was a real pain. I tried the double fork method, the skewer method, spoons, and even just throwing it in the chocolate. While this isn't perfect, it worked better than any of those methods and let the excess chocolate drip off much easier.

Works but don't love it
Used it for buckeyes that I wanted to be completely covered, so call them PB balls I guess. The spiral lines showed up as an imprint on the peanut butter which sort of defeated the purpose of not just using a fork or toothpick. I had to drizzle more on top and then it got ugly. Maybe better for a strawberry but then again, that's what stems are for. So meh, probably wouldn't buy again but since I have it, I kept it.

What a wonderful little tool!!
This little tool worked perfectly and I was SO surprised that it made that much difference. My mom and I make truffles and that kind of thing every Christmas and we've always used a spoon or a fork for dipping. We've always, I say ALWAYS had average results. Many times the truffle or ball of goodness would melt too much in the warm chocolate before we could successfully get them out. With this tool we actually had GOOD success for the first time in years! I was shocked that it could make such a difference. it holds and cushions the ball as you dip it and allows you not to lose it in the chocolate. Great little tool. I'l never assume that something simple that's made for a job wouldn't be useful again. Learned THAT lesson, lol. Specialty tools are a great idea and actually help give you more professional results.

Superior to the plastic ones.
Simple item but works very well. All metal construction, nice feel in the hand thought wish it was a little bit thicker in the handle.Works very well with minimal waste while dipping.
