Wilhelmina Peppermints - 17.6oz Holland Design Tin-SET OF 4

I had no clue about these mints but a new co-worker gave me one to try. I wanted to give this person something small for the holidays and found this great tin of the mints that he enjoys so much. I just received it today and the tin is quite striking. Unfortunately to my horror it has 2 large dents and is not suitable for gift giving. Otherwise this would be a 5 star item. The box it was shipped in was not damaged however the item was quite loose in the box and there was no padding. I'm not sure if it was damaged prior to being shipped or if this happened after it left the warehouse. I'm going to take one more chance and order another one because it is so unique.Update on 12/15: I took a chance and ordered this again hoping for a perfect tin. Horrible packing, it arrived in a large semi-padded envelope. However this time the Tin did not have the protective seal and while the canister itself was not dented like like the first one, this time the lid was dented. This appears to have been one that was returned. Horrible quality control. I think this is a great product but the company has to be losing money given the damage due to shipping and handling. It's unfortunate since this is a beautiful tin, but I would not order this product again.

I used to buy peppermint flavored Canada Mints but the company was sold and the new company may not continue production. So I went on a search for something similar. Over time I ordered several brands, all similar, but none of them had the same flavor and texture. Some tasted so bad I had to throw them out....until I found these. I love them. Perfect texture and great flavor. I love the tin and they make a great gift. A little expensive. I’m sold and don’t need to shop for anymore replacements......these do the trick. For those of you who liked Canada Mints, you will like these.

My mint addiction Started with Altoids. I am also quite fond of the Trebor I like the larger mints and these are thick quarter size about the same around as the Trebor But much thicker more like the altoid. They have a lighter mint taste but not more “sugary”. Overall these are very pleasant mints and satisfying for my mint crunch love. Definitely will buy again. Definitely worth trying if you love the mints.

These are delicious. However they come in a dented tin EVERY SINGLE TIME. And the mints have clearly been moved around a lot. The edges are cracked and broken and there is a lot of mint powder in the package. It would be a straight 5 stars in every area if it looked like the company cared about how their product arrived. That being said, It hasn’t stopped me from eating them. I wouldn’t gift them though...

The Holland design is just beautiful on this tin. Also, the tin did not come dented at all. Just beautiful. The peppermints are big and you can let them melt in your mouth. Wilhelmina Peppermints - 17.6oz Holland Design Tin ... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!

I originally received a tin of these delicious mints as a gift. Since then I have purchased 2 more tins I. Very short order. These are the best mints I have ever tasted! Not to strong and a very pleasant smell and flavor. You won’t be disappointed except by how fast they vanish from the decorative tins.

A friend introduced me to these meant, and now a bunch of us are just addicted! Large mints with the perfect amount of mint. You can purchase in small boxes, (great for your purse) bags, (great for gifting), or in some great decorative tin. They store well, and are wonderful to have on hand.

I picked up a box of these mints while overseas, and the whole family loved them. I was delighted to see Amazon was a source. The tin is a more cost-effective option than the small boxes, and we can reuse the tin when we finish the mints. These are not "curiously strong," nor are they like the pillow-shaped buttermints you see at receptions. We think they strike the right balance - minty, but not overwhelming.
