Great kit; would highly recommend! Build was relatively easy for a 4 year old with minimal help from adults. Some reviews stated that kids might have difficulty pulling the chord to make the helicopters fly--this was not our experience. 4 and 6 year olds were able to operate without assistance from adults. Helicopters don't fly very high, but the silver lining is that they therefore do not break when landing.

My 5 year old son loves this lego set. It took a few tries to get the helicopters to fly because you have to pull pretty hard, but now that he knows how to do it he has been completely entertained. It's cool it comes with 2 functional helicopters so multiple people can do it at once, and then one Lego plane to put together.

Assembles together fine, but helicopters don't fly nearly as far as I thought. Basically staight up and then down.

I gave this as a gift to my almost 5 yr old grandson. He was able to follow the instructions mostly without assistance and then fly them! How fun!

This set is so fun. The helicopter really fly. My kiddos loved it. They had built in no time.

Purchased this for my 5 year old son. The helicopters and launch system arent light weight enough for the helicopters to really fly. It takes a lot of strength to pull the rip cord hard enough to make them fly in a significant way. Definitely too much force required for a young child. And since there is not much actual lego building required (just the plane, which is relatively simple) for this set because the emphasis is the flying helicopters, it's a poor value.

This made a great gift, especially in an aircraft family. Easy assembly.
