And, if I could get a brim that would also protect my neck that would be a great, great bonus.• I also knew that I wanted a hat that would be lightweight and easy to wear; since I would have it on for hours I didn’t want a hat that would be too heavy or too stiff and uncomfortable to wear.• In addition, I wanted a hat that had some ‘cooling’ features built into it. Some mesh along the side (but covered on top) would do the trick.• And finally, though not as important in my particular application, having a hat that I could fold up and easily put in a bag or suitcase would be nice in case I wanted to bring the hat along when on vacation.After seeing the product page for the Leotruny Super Wide Brim Bucket Hat I was pretty sure that I had found the exact hat I needed.And after receiving the hat and trying it on … I knew I had found the right hat for me to wear around in the garden.The Leotruny hat checked off all the boxes on my ‘needed’ list; it has a super wide brim hat, close to 6 inches in width. The width of the brim threw enough shadow that not only was my entire face covered but my neck was covered as well. Just what I wanted. The hat is lightweight and easy to wear. The cooling features are just-right. Protection for the top of my head but a mesh band going around the entire crown of the hat. Just what I wanted. There is a built in sweatband for those days when the temperature builds up … a great nice-to-have. And, if the time comes when I want to take the hat out-and-about, the hat easily folds up into quarters so it will easily fit in a bag or suitcase.When you add up all the plus marks this hat receives, the final score is a solid 5-star rating.If you, like I was, are looking for a super wide brim hat for the garden or for fishing or camping or any outdoor activity then the Leotruny hat is truly one to consider.-If you found this review helpful, please click the Helpful button below as that helps me know that I'm providing useful information in these reviews.-

I love how wide this is. The only thing I don’t like about it is it arrived folded and there are two seams. I’ve had it laid out on my table for a few days in hopes it will flatten out but it’s still not flat.

Beware! OMG!!! Ignore the part that says WATERPROOF!!!! It has an almost completely mesh crown, so NOT waterproof. AND the mesh is wide enough that my forehead would get sunburned if I wore it for a sun hat. The brim is nice & wide, but made of a foam that CREASES PERMANENTLY when folded and it is FOLDED when they ship it. All around just a baaaaaad purchase! Refunded.

I purchased this when I misplaced what I call my "floppy brim French Foreign Legion" hat. I am a red-headed senior and a native of Phoenix AZ. At this point in my life I have been paying for my lifetime of sunburns by visiting the dermatologist twice a year to have things burned or scraped off my face. I think this hat looks funny on me, but find it is better than the Foreign Legion hat. The back brim droops down to cover my neck and the front folds in the center to give me a v-shaped area to look out of. It also doesn't restrict the wind getting under it to cool. I did not comment on the warmth of the hat. We have had 50 days of 110F-plus weather in Phoenix this summer. Warmth is not a concern.

This hat looks nice on the model picture but it is way too flimsy to ware. It has a sliding string to adjust the fit, it is very lightweight, once adjusted to fit it will not hold in position, the tension releases. Looks good but fit is extremely poor.

Great big wide sunhat. It’s Folded in half to put in a plastic bag and in the box for shipping. I wish they would’ve paid attention to detail and folded it on the crease because the hat is bent and damaged at the brim crookedly on a diagonal. So when you wear it 1/4 of the brim is in your face and field of vision. and ironing would not fix it.

Has great coverage; nice wide brim. I'm female and have a large head. Have worn men's hats and thought this would be fine on me. But the hatband slips down to my nose, nearly knocking my glasses off. Tried tightening it with the elastic cord, but it becomes very uncomfortable then with the fabric bunching up in places, and the elastic slips through the clip that's supposed to hold it tight.. I'll keep it because of the great protection it affords, but will have to figure out a way to pad the band a bit so it fits my head without covering my eyeballs.

I have a large head and surprisingly this hat fit my head very well. It has an adjustable band to make the hat snug if you wish. The color is great, nice chestnut brown which looks good on both my spouse and I. It also has a mesh area to allow cooling of your head which is a good design idea. In general, this hat is well made, looks nice, functions perfectly as a sun blocker for 360 degrees protection all around your head. Very pleased and of course a reasonable price through good ole' Amazon.

Se siente cómodo, ligero, fresco y super amplio para una gran protección...ah y me gustó que trae correa para atarlo al cuello para que no se vaya con el aire.

el sombrero es muy bueno si tratas de protegerte de los rayos del sol, así evitaras manchas y también te proteje el area de cuello.

Excelente, justo el tamaño que pedí, un buen material, un poco doblado por el envío pero perfecto el producto
