Best mattress ever!

This mattress is so comfortable. I was worried because I read hundreds of reviews over several different memory foam mattresses, all had many good and bad ones. So I was a bit torn.I had slept on a memory foam mattress at my mom's house and loved it so when it came time for me to get a new mattress I wanted the same. But on the one at my mom's there was a new cover over it and no way to tell the brand. I knew it was firm, well at least much firmer than my original old spring mattress. ( I always thought before plush and squishy was the way to go till I slept on a firm mattress)Throughout my research and review reading I learned that with memory foam mattresses, the thickness (8" 10" 12" 14") determines the firmness. 8" being very firm to 14" being more plush. Well I wanted very firm but didn't want an 8 inch mattress as my bedframe sits low to the ground. So I went with a 10" classic brands cool gel. And I am very pleased.The manufacturer recommends to let it lay on your bed for 48-72 hours before sleeping on it. I did the full 72. At first I was a little nervous because after 24 hours the corners at the head of the bed were still just slightly lower than the rest of the mattress. And also when I was standing next to it, and pushed my fist in the mattress, it felt very squishy... So I thought Hmmmm, maybe it's not a firm mattress. So after a little over 72 hours my corners were all the way up. And once you lay on it, it is VERY FIRM. But soft. It's so hard to describe. But the firmness I was looking for is absolutely there.I've been sleeping on it for about 6 weeks now and I don't notice any sagging or dipping where I always sleep. I never noticed any chemical smell like I saw in some reviews. No mold or mildew. It arrived on time and packaged great. It took me and my daughter to get it on the bedframe and opened. Although one person could do it themselves as well.This mattress is very comfortable and supportive. I'm 5'2" and 145lbs and 44 years old and it works great for me. I get a very good night's sleep and wake up not feeling sore or stiff.Overall I'm very happy with this purchase, I would definitely recommend it.I didn't take pictures of the mattress as I was setting it up, but have pictures of my bed with it on.

I purchased the 10" Cool Gel Chill mattress for my guest room. I did see all the mixed reviews, but decided to try it as the price seemed reasonable, there is a warranty and it's a big upgrade from the air mattress I previously had in there!Upon taking it out of the box, I immediately noticed some debris rolled into the plastic packaging, it was under the wrapper on the actual mattress, it didn't make me happy, it caused me to wonder if this was actually a "new" mattress or if the factory was really that dirty?I was able to clean the debris off the mattress, so I ultimately let that go.After unwrapping it, I was surprised, it did seem to decompress fairly quickly, the ends took a bit longer than the rest of the mattress, but within 24 hours, it seemed to have reached full size.I also did not experience any issue with smell, as some other reviewers have posted, there was a faint plastic smell, but it dissipated quickly.After finally sleeping on it, admittedly, I'm a heavy person, but that's another feature I was attracted to, the 1,000 lbs weight capacity (more than covered me). However, I don't know that the 10" mattress would be a good choice for side sleepers, or anyone with moderate back pain, I only rated it a 2 in that category.If I stayed laying on my back, it was fine, but rolling to my side, it wasn't supportive enough. Maybe for a smaller person it wouldn't be an issue.I did really like the cooling gel, I tend to sleep hot, so I did notice a difference in that right away!Overall, I think this will work fine for the guest room... but if I were going to use it for my own mattress, I would upgrade to the 14" version.

I have arthritis and neuropathy and I was sleeping on and old horrible mattress.This has made a big difference so far in my quality of sleep and I wake up with less stiffness and pain.It has a pretty horrible smell that I cannot describe but I had a mattress cover ready for it's arrival so with some lysol and the cover it isn't an issue but be aware of it,there is an odor,not like it's dirty but kind of a chemical smell,my dog even smelled it and wouldn't go near the bed til the cover was on lol I think it is worth the money and I am hopeful it will last a few years and not start to sag but so far so good.Here is a tip...watch for delivery because UPS almost left it at my neighbors and it is VERY heavy so you don't want that to happen lol

I have too much joint and muscle pain and of all the mattresses I’ve tried over the last 15 years, this is by far the best. It eases my pain more than any other and I’ve even had friends ask me for the link.

I ordered a 10" mattress, I opened this mattress and waited for a week, but it only expanded to 7". :((((
