Honestly couldnt be better, colour is great, really sturdy and so easy to put together. Got it on a prime deal and we are ao ecstatic!! Took just an hour to put together & it beats a mattress on the floor anyday! Really great product

This bed is simply very well designed. It comes flat packed in its own bed head. Every piece is perfectly slotted into its place. Once assembled it looks the part and it performs its function well - providing a sturdy base for a mattress (not included).The assembly is easy to follow with a simple instruction manual that guides you through the process. Each piece is clearly labeled with a sticker so you don't get confused between different parts.Once constructed it is clear that the bed is very sturdy. It has a steel frame and solid, flat wooden slats that won't bend under your weight - which I think is rare at this price point.The bed looks very good for the cost, perfectly passable in most households - the bedhead could perhaps be made from a softer material but that's a nit pick and I think you'll struggle find a better overall package for what you're paying.The manufacturing quality is good, once again, for the price point, but here's where I found problems. The bed is designed down to the finest detail which leaves only a small margin for error for the manufacturers to work within.Mine arrived with a small error in its construction, which made it impossible to assemble. I recommend checking your bed before the return period is up to ensure an easy swap for a new one if necessary. This what I had to do but Zinus didn't quible and made the process simple.Even then, assembling was somewhat of a challenge because I had to slightly force some of the parts together because the tolorences were slightly out but I guess this is a reasonable trade off when you're paying what you're paying.All in all a great product that I'll probably buy again when I need a new bed, or I might try one of the other Zinus models.

Overall very happy with purchase. A sturdy bed that is good value for money. Comes with excellent instructions and tools for assembly. When assembling, as others have said, don't fully tighten each bolt as you go - wait until the bed is fully together before tightening the bolts that last little bit. The only thing that lets this bed down very slightly, for me, is that the headboard is very firm and rather tall. As a result, it's not that comfortable to sit against and the top is quite far above your head. We now miss our previous head board a bit because it was softer and the top edge was in the right place to rest the back of our necks on (while watching TV etc.) This is mostly because the whole bed comes packed within the headboard, so it's size is determined by this. Personally, I would rather the headboard was made with comfort in mind, rather than by what can be fitted inside. In any case, once in position, what use is a hollow headboard, with a zip on the back that you can't access(?) It would be better to have a squashier headboard, made with ergonomics in mind. I don't think many will ever have the need to pack the bed back into the headboard, so it's nearly always going to remain an unused cavity behind your head/s.

Heavy, but easy to set up, sturdy, looks great as is all round brilliant bed.

What an incredible bed. Super strong, really easy to assemble and it’s genius how compact it is. The bed has been up now for about a month and any future beds I’ll need will all be from the same manufacturer. So much better than IKEA beds and will last much longer.

Took less than 45 mins to assemble. Handy little ratchet spanner included. Super easy instructions. Packaging was very cleverly done. It is quite a high bed off the floor, but it’s very comfortable. Maybe time will tell, but I can’t see what the downside would be at 3 times this price…..

Good sturdy bed, easy to assemble, clear instructions manual. What I liked that the head board is of right height going behind the mattress, not like others which are only up to mattress surface leaving gap behind the mattress. Nice color. Had a minor issue about one of the plank but Amazon resolved it quickly, they were very helpful. Before ordering we forgot to check the base height for baseboard heater but this is raised enough to fit above the baseboard, space didn't get wasted. Really liked it, surely recommended.

I had read so many positive reviews about this bed, that I just had to try it. I purchased the navy queen bed frame and it was a BREEZE to assemble (late 30s lady assembled it no problem!). The company packaged this SO WELL. ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS AND PARTS LABELLED CLEARLY AND ZIPPED UP IN THE HEADBOARD! Makes it so easy to move as well. My casper mattress fits perfectly in here and I just LOVVVVVE how the slats are Velcro secured to the frame. They don't move, squeak or shift at all! Previous I have had Ikea bedframes where the slats are screwed in with a metal x stabilizer....hated hate it and it always ended up breaking. This bed is amazing. Looks so good assembled and just SMART design, production and assembly. Don't think, just BUY. Thank you Zinus for this wonderful bed and packaging! I will highly recommend it to friends and family.

I read a lot of positive reviews about this bed, which was one of the reasons I purchased it. I'm glad I did. I'm absolutely shocked at the quality of this bed for the price. To clarify, one of the things I wanted to know before I bought it was the actual color. It is a true deep navy blue and it looks like linen. It's gorgeous. It does not look like blue jean material, as a couple people described it. Assembly was a breeze and it was only by picture. Not many parts and I believe you could put it together if you didn't have any instructions at all. Not a lot of pieces. The little bit of hardware there was, was nicely packaged. No tools required. The frame and assembly pieces are in the back of the head board, in a zippered pouch. Very cool idea! But what I was really pleased with, as I put the bed together was how sturdy everything was. Once the frame was put together I was really surprised to find that there were velcro strips on the rails and the slats are firmly stabilized once velcroed to the bed rails. The slats go from the headboard all the way to the footboard which is really great for a platform bed, especially since I bought a memory foam mattress, also by Zinus. I had a full bed with a Zinus mattress and bought one for my queen bed because they are incredible for the price, as well. I went with an 8-inch mattress for this bed so that a lot of the headboard can be seen. Even if I'd gone with a 10 inch mattress it still would leave a lot of headboard to look at which is nice. Anything thicker than that and a lot of the headboard would be lost. Once it was all put together, my next question was going to be how sturdy was the entire bed going to be? Would the headboard be moving back and forth or hitting the wall or moving around? Nope. Sturdy and solid. Same thing when I get in the bed, am laying in the bed or getting off the bed. It's been a couple of weeks and no bad news to report. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend.

I love this bed. It is beautiful and I love the color. It was pretty easy to put together by myself. I admit I made a few mistakes that were my fault, but it didn't slow me down too much. The bed is the perfect height and I slept on it last night and it was like a dream. I have a very comfortable hybrid mattress that was made even more comfortable by this bed. It slept like a dream. Very sturdy and no squeaking sounds or anything. I am very pleased with this bed. The blue color is almost like a deep aqua which is not what I thought it was, but I still love it anyway maybe even more.

Update: After owning this product for some time now, there is a little squeaking coming from the metal framework. It doesn't bother us though.We ordered the platform bed a few weeks ago and received it by Purolator a day earlier than the expected delivery date. I was anxious as I've read horrible reviews about this company. But the route driver here found another driver to help lift the package as it was nearly 100 lbs.Had the box sitting in our bedroom for awhile until we got around to unpacking it.Pristine packaging, organized, took about an hour to assemble with very clear step by step instructions.The product is beautiful! I personally love the headboard, the denim blue color, the supportive wooden slats and metal framing, I love it all!We placed our 10 inch high queen mattress on top, sat and laid on it. No squeaks or sounds whatsoever. It's extremely sturdy!It is stated that the platform bed can hold the weight capacity of 700 lbs and that's excluding the mattress. My husband and I are 390 lbs collectively and it holds our weight nicely.We initially ordered this product online for it's highly rated reviews and for its said "sturdiness". It was what we were looking for. The biggest and most satisfying upgrade from our 10+ year old, collapsed metal bed frame!I strongly recommend this bed to everyone!
