I have a 2020 dryer in a 1995 house. The old outlet won’t accept the new plug. Your choices are limited at that point and all of them require time and/or money. This is a Perfect solution to get plugged in soon and get the dryer running. I’m glad that I bought it. I’ve seen reviews stating that the price for this is high. The price is great. The product is sturdy and it works as advertised. It arrived promptly and as long as it doesn’t malfunction after a period of time it is perfect. I highly recommend it. Just make sure that you have a standard outlet near your dryer to plug in the green ground. My washer plug is right next to the dryer location so it was easy. Most people are in the same situation but if you are not the green grounding wire is fairly long in case your washer and dryer might be split up or away from one another in a room.

I moved into a new home and found my washer was not compatible with the old 3 prong electrical outlet in the washer area. I was looking at hiring an electrician to bring in a new line. That was going to take a lot of time and money. I went to Amazon and found this product. Wow, what a great product. super easy to install and it fixes the problem. I was all set in a couple of days from order to install. Install is as simple as plugging in a cord, there was no expertise required.

We moved into a new house and discovered that the 3-prong wall socket was not compatible with the 4-prong plug on our LG dryer. I was told by the rental agency that I would need to get permission from the owner to convert the wall socket to work with our dryer and then have a licensed electrician perform the work at $150/hour or I would need to have the plug on my dryer modified to work with the wall socket. This motivated me to do some more research and I learned about this adapter. This adapter works perfectly and saved me quite a lot of money.
