Rubbish
Complete and utter waste of space and money.I bought the small size as my son is 4 months old but he is on the larger size, I didn’t want to be spending money on an XS and then buying a small in only a couple of weeks. He needs to be swaddled in order to sleep as he is constantly rubbing and touching his face. Recently his sleep has been even worse than usual and I thought it was because the swaddle was too restrictive, and I wanted an ‘in between’ sleeping bag that would restrict his movements but allow him some space to wriggle as he wanted. This is not in the least restrictive, my son can move his arms completely freely. The only thing it stops him from doing is scratching his face, which is achieved by the scratch mitts built in to his babygrows. The only way either of us has managed any sleep at all whilst wearing this garbage was if I physically held his arms down in a traditional swaddle. Halfway through the night I took it off him and put him back in his swaddle blanket so we could continue on our sleepless night with our usual 30 minutes of sleep per each hour. This is just a company trying to make money off of exhausted parents, telling you it’s a magic fix. Save your money.

Waste of money!
Was really disappointed by this. Have read great reviews but we used it once for half a night. It’s far too big, honestly I could wear it as a dress and I’m 5”6 however it was really tight around the neck, think my son would outgrow the collar in a couple of months but would take years to fit the body. This did not help transitioning from a swaddle, my 6 month old could not sleep in it and then slept fine once out of it. I worry that it’s so big that once rolled over he wouldn’t be able to rollback. Eye wateringly expensive for cheap design and thin material. You could make this out of an old t shirt for free and would fit better! Don’t waste your money!

Perfect bedtime essential
This is just the most easiest sleep sac available especially if your transitioning out of a swaddle. It allows movement but with some restraint giving security. We have had such great sleep with these , from the moment we rolled we went in these. Nice and soft too.

Poor Sizing
I love the idea of this product. My baby will not sleep without being swaddled but at 6 months old she is too big for swaddle blankets. This product makes sense. It is a transition blanket, designed to fall somewhere between a swaddle and a regular sleeping bag. The arms are supposed to be shorter so that when baby jerks them in the night they will feel a kind of barrier and fall back to sleep. Unfortunately I found this product too big to be affective. My baby is long for her age but I bought the size recommended but is still too big. Perhaps it will work in a few weeks but, as it stands, it can't be used as intended as the sizing was not quite right for us.

Doesn't replace / resolve transition from swaddle!
I got this product after researching how to transition from a swaddle after having a few awful night's sleep where my baby hit her face with her arms and woke up numerous times. This came as a shock when I was used to 8 hours sleep thanks to swaddling !! I must say this product made absolutely no difference to the transition. My opinion is that you may as well use a sleeping bag with a baby grow that covers the arms with the same effect. You also have to use a blanket in the cold months as it doesnt have a tog and the material is cheap and bobbled the 1st wash. Definitely not worth £30 and i wish I didn't purchase!! My baby is now sleeping through with the sleeping bag after perseverance and actually sleeps worse with this product.

Great Purchase and I highly recommend this product
I purchased this for my Granddaughter after she was waking during the night, she could no longer be swaddled as she was starting to roll. I had heard about this product from a friend who lives in the USA and she recommended that I try one. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the Zipadee-Zip worked! Within a few days she was sleeping through the night again and was not getting cold either. The Zipadee-Zip also eliminated the use of blankets in the cot as now she sleeps with her Pjs on and the Zipadee-Zip. I am expecting another grandchild later this year and will be buying more in the near future.

Helpful for transitioning out of swaddle but still took some getting used to
I bought this item because I was struggling with transitioning my 5.5 month old baby out of his love to dream swaddle suit. I have tried the 50/50 love to dream with zip off arms with limited success. It took a few nights for him to get used to the zipadee zip as it allows for a lot more movement than the swaddle he was used to. We stuck with it and after a few nights of fidgeting and flapping his arms around in it, he has now got used to it and is sleeping fine. The size seems generous. He is now nearly 6 months and big for his age and the small has plenty of growing room in it. Nice quality and a reasonable price on Amazon compared to other sellers I checked.

Really useful transition from swaddling
Our baby could not sleep without being swaddled. This became a problem when he started rolling. We used the Saddle Up transition suits, but he struggled having his busy hands free. This was the best alternative we could find, and he's still using it. Whenever we try and move him to a normal sleeping bag he sleeps less well. But importantly he's still able to roll over safely in both directions. Four stars rather than five as the material has a tendency to come up quite high and I'm always a little worried it's going to cover his face. At 7 months our baby can probably handle this, but it might be more of a safety issue for a younger tot.
