I tested this to see how sensitive the scales are by adding small amounts of ash to the scales incrementally. The numbers show 0.00 and then suddenly jump up to 0.04 (40mg) for instance. Removing the ash and doing it again would then not even register at all, or the figure would change to 0.06.It's annoying because I was at least expecting it to pick up once the weight was at 0.01 but it can't seem to detect anything that low...

I bought the Digital Pocket Scale to check the weight of envelopes and small packets being sent through the mail. It works perfectly. It's quite small ( as the name suggests ) so to weigh large envelopes etc you have to put something on the weighing pad to lift the envelope enough to see the weight display ( I use an empty yoghourt pot ) but the"TARE" button makes this a doddle - you just put the pot on the weighing pad first, press "TARE" - this then zero's the indication - then add your envelope of packet on top. It works very well, and takes up no space at all when not in use.

I like the design, they seem to work ok. I cannot fault the build quality, apart from the lid - it sucks. I've purchased 2 of them an Orange and a Green set, the Green only one of the magnets seems to stick and theirs too much movement in the hinges so the lid is really loose. The Orange the lid is slightly bowed so when the lid is closed it wobbles by 2mm on each side. If the hinges weren't so loose it would eliminate most of the wobble. The problem on both sets seem to be poorly fitting hinges. The holes are too big for the pins, so theirs a lot of movement.

Seems accurate, and really helpful it comes with a calibration weight. I use this to weigh salts and ph balancing for my home brew beers, which are very small amounts of powders that my kitchen scales were useless at.

it does what i need it to do, accuracy is good, depending on how you store it or if you move it around too often when not using you’ll have to recalibrate. first thing i noticed was it’s not built as well as the case makes you think, it won’t survive if you drop it on a hard surface. the hinge has plenty of movement and visible seams where it was moulded. it also has a very weak magnetic seal when you go to close it, a half arsed shake would open her right up and the weigh would fall out because it’s not held down at all. big words and aesthetics aside, it does what it’s advertised to do. weigh at high accuracy and look cool while doing it. could do with a bit higher quality built specifically with the hinge and closing magnets. 8/10

They're good, the 50g calibration weight that came with it weighs 50.10g so it's only 0.1g off.... This is how the scales came I didnt have to calibrate them, and tbh I'm not interested in the smallest of differences. Good stuff !!

Happy with it so far. The only thing is that the plastic sleeves did not align properly but I didn't want to return as the scales seem to work well. I like the robust cover.
