For the price you get a good and fun camera...
**UPDATE 12/2/20**My original review said the camera was "good"...I want to update and say, it is not a "good" camera...it is a "great" camera for the $$. Just remember the cost of the unit and what you get.OK. I have had the camera for a week and had some fun with it.What it is/does:Inexpensive compact photo & video cameraFun to use and seems reliable, basically not a glitchy action cameraProduces good images in well lit areas, it is grainy in low light. The image stabilization feature works, but the video tears a little with drastic shaking.Lots of accessories, the price itself is almost worth the cost of the accessories - buy the accessories and get the camera free. Or vise versa. Not sure, but 4K might be interpolated and not from a native 4K chipGood time lapse feature. It offers slow motion, but I have not tried it so I can not comment on it.Please note...FOR THE $$, this is a fun to use camera with a lot of accessories and a good amount of features and adjustments. The feel of the camera is a little on the weak side, but it still feels fairly solid and should hold up well with some physical abuse. It comes with two batteries, so that is a plus...you will have a backup. What would I use it for? Use it to record memories of friends and family in social settings. I would not use it as your main camera to record your once in a lifetime wedding or something in that line. If this is all you had then I still think it would be acceptable.Would I recommend it? For an inexpensive and fun camera to record memories/moments when you do not care a whole lot about perfect color retention and perfectly smooth video movements, this camera works well!! The user experience is also pleasant, menu is well organized and easy to navigate.Bottom line...get one and have fun with it!

What a great Action Camera. You will not be disappointed
I tried to post a great video and it was definitely short enough, but no matter how many things i tried, it would not post. It had nothing to do with the camera, this has happened before, and until I figure it out, I will not be able to post videos, which is upsetting. This is a neat action camera. Definitely worth the money. Before I mention all that this camera comes with and does, I'd like to say I'm so very surprised how well this camera does. As in pictures and videos, how they look very good. I've got to admit, I didn't expect much because of action cameras for this price, but, this camera exceeded my expectations. You cannot go wrong with purchasing one or a few of these. The options you will have are plenty. I really love the Slow Motion, and I plan on using it quite a bit with some projects. The time lapse is going to be something else I'm going to use quite a bit. If you want ideas, there are plenty on YouTube. Comes with a little mic and it is a good mic. And the remote that comes with it is another great benefit.I am definitely happy I came across this action camera. Just wait until you open the box, and see all that it comes with, it's plenty and then some. Can't leave out the built in EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) technology... It is what every camera needs. And it works great. It's nice seeing video that isn't interrupted by bumbs or any kind of bouncing.I went ahead and put down the action cameras functions.Photo Shoots:Photo Resolution - 20m, 16m, 12m, 8m and 5mPhoto Lapse - Capture a series of photos at the set time intervals.... 3 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, 30 sec and60 sec.Burst Photo - Capture photos and quick succession.... 3 or 5 Burst PhotosTime Lapse Photo - 2 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec and 20 sec.Burst Photos:The burst mode shoots a quick sequence of still images. It’s useful for fast-moving action when you want to increase the chances you’ll capture the fleeting moment you’re after.Video:Video Resolution - 4K 30, 2.7K 30, 1080P 60, 1080P 30, 720P 120, 720P 60Looping Video - 1 min, 3 min and 5 minTime Lapse Video - 1 Sec, 5 Sec. 10 Sec, 30 Sec and 60 Sec.Slow Motion - 1080P 60 and 720P 120Audio Record - On/OffModes: Car Mode, Driving Mode, Snow Mode and Upside Down ModeEffect: Normal, Sepia, Black and White, NegativeYou can set the Contrast, Saturation and SharpnessBattery Life: is 90 minutes each, it comes with two batteries. Follow the directions though you want to make sure you don't charge the battery over a 5V1A... So that means you'll most likely need to purchase an adapter that is 5V1A. You want the batteries to charge properly. Otherwise you might not get longer lasting batteries.Using the Camera:Using the Camera is very easy. I had no problems figuring anything out. If you do go to the support page. It's in your instruction booklet and on the back of it. I found that if I use the touch screen to touch the part that you want, tap it twice. Like let's say you want Video Resolution to be 1080P 60, you'll have to tap that twice for it to register. To turn the EIS on, tap the On twice, same with turning it Off, tap it twice. That goes for the other settings too.Batteries:Comes with 2 and a dual dock charger. The batteries are 1050 mAh.Here's a bit of info in regards to how much time you'll get out of the battery.I read this from another user.....and it's good advice. To maximize the battery life, turn the wifi turned off, don’t use the mobile app, minimize the amount of viewing on the back screen.Something I noticed when I used this camera. It didn't get hot like my other action camera.App for WiFi: Live DVI had no issues setting it up.Connect your camera using the Live DV App. Available for IOS and Android.Remote Control:Comes with a small 2.4GHz wireless remote control included. It’s not waterproof. Has a wrist strap for your arm. Has two buttons, one for taking pictures and the other for videos. It's very easy to use and no set up is required. It's very simple, though if you need to change any of the types of photos or types of video, you'll have to do that in the camera, and that's not big deal at all.Oh, and it even comes with an extra battery.Memory Cards. (You will need to get your own memory card)Here's some suggestions: I read this elsewhere. So I'm putting it here too.SanDisk 64GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with AdapterSanDisk 64GB Extreme microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card with AdapterThe instruction manual says that it should be at least a Class 10 card, most of those cards are too slow So I would recommend at least a U1 card, and preferably a U3 or V30 card. Cards up to 64GB....Included Cable:It comes with a Micro USB Cable, Has an HDMI output.Included Accessories:Something else that I really like is that it comes with quite a bit of needed accessories, I'll list those below. I love that Two Batteries and a Dual Battery Charger that come with it, and not only that, a Remote, and the remote is already set up. Easy to use for video or picture taking.Accessories: Packing List....I was amazed to see how much accessories this came with...Remote Belt, Helmet Belt, Clip 1 and Clip 2, short connector one and short connector two, long connector, bicycle handlebar connector, tripod mount adapter, 360° adapter, surface J hook buckle helmet Mount time 2, USB cable, microphone, cleaning cloth, adhesive pad time 2, 2.4 gigahertz remote not waterproof, extra remote battery, battery times two, dual battery charger, cable ties and a carrying case. GoPro compatible accessories....Specifications:Sens or Sony I am x179, touch screen 2.0 inch IPS LCD, display resolution 320x240, focal length 2.68 mm, lens 170° HD wide-angle lens, Wi-Fi 2.4 g-2.4 g, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Mic support external mic, speaker 0.5 w, EIS 3 axis gyroscope, weight 70 g, waterproof 100 ft with waterproof case, working temperature -10° C 40° C, storage temperature - 20° C - 60° c, video codec H264, video format mov, video resolution 4k/30fps-(3840° 2160), EIS 4K / 30 FPS (3200°1800) EIS 2.7 k/ 30 FPS (2560°1440) EIS 1080p/60/30fps (1920° 1080) EIS 720p 120 60 FPS (1080° 720), Photo Format JPEG, Photo Resolution 20m / 16m / 12 m/8m/ 5m, Extendable Storage up to 64g / memory card not includedMy end thoughts. So here's my end thoughts. This isn't a GoPro, it doesn't have all those features. But...wow, it's completely affordable and might I say a great deal with many features. It's easy to use and maintain. It has, Built-in advanced Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). That's such a huge major plus right there. All in all, this is a great budget friendly action camera. And I know some people prefer to use more than one. So you can have 4 or 5 of these at the price of one GoPro Camera. It's capabilities make it so fun....

Great little action camera! Just as good as TOP name brands!
This is pretty cool. I’m not an adventurer so I don’t have any sky diving video to share. I’m planning on using this to record my art and the process.First, DON’T FORGET the memory card! I didn’t realize I needed until my action camera arrived and it wouldn’t work without one.I have one now and it did take me a while to figure out how to format it. Just press the wheel, go to system settings then press format. It’s that easy but I had to watch a 16 minute YouTube video to figure it out. 😂Download the app LiveDV and you’ll be able to connect to your camera via wifi. This thing is pretty hi tech. It’s touch screen, connects to wifi, your phone and more.It can go under water too! So cool! I’ll for sure be taking it for a swim this unmet just for fun! If you’re going on a snorkeling trip, get this camera!!!!It came with a million and one pieces to connect to a helmet, a bike, pretty much whatever you need it’s there. There is a little stand that can act as a trip pod so that’s probably all I will need personally. I will definitely hold on the the other parts for future uses.If you are wondering how big it is, it’s super tiny. Similar to a bar of hotel soap. If you are attaching it to your helmet or body, you won’t know it’s there. I’m including a video of when I first connected the wifi and recorded a quickie of my art office.I think anyone looking for an action can will be very happy with this. Because I save what I want to my phone via the wifi, i can edit on my phone apps. So convenient!
