UnikaColorFill Worktop Joint Sealer Compound Laminate Repair, Colorfill: CF390 - Riverwash Monserat

Interesting stuff. It's like a cross between using silicone and enamel paint. I bought it to fill a worktop that we accidentally took a chunk out of. It works well as a filler and gives a rock-hard result. I then painted on top with enamel to match and the result is almost invisible.Cautions:1. It immediately begins to form a surface film as it comes out of the tube, so it's a bit difficult to get a smooth finish (it's certainly not as easy as Unika's video makes it out to be). The solvent is therefore important, as it allows you to smooth over the bumpy surface a few minutes after you have passed over the sealant with a spatula. I also successfully filed it down to get it perfectly level with the surface/curve.2. The sealant sold in this listing is a really tiny amount (especially if you're doing several small jobs). I was a bit disappointed with the product description of the solvent because when it arrived, I discovered that it is simply acetone. It would have been better to describe it as such, so I could have bought a bigger, better-value bottle.3. I also used the product on an existing hairline crack in a previously-installed junction between 2 worktops. This was much more difficult, because getting the product into the crack with any precision is difficult when it comes out of the tube (there's no cone-applicator supplied). Even though I managed this (using acetone to remove a lot of excess), I'm not sure that it will last in this situation (unlike the larger repair, where I'm confident it will last longer than the worktop itself).In summary: great product for chunky repairs and probably for installing a junction (I didn't try this). But it's not so great for repairing tiny cracks, where it's very difficult to apply.

I ordered Green Slate but I got Black, I didn't use the product right away. I knew I needed it for a repair but that was for the end of the project, tidying up some damages to an already fitted kitchen worktop. When I have bought this product from the kitchen supply shop it comes in a box that states the colour and it also comes with a bottle of solvent. This item just came in the tube packaged in a bubble wrap bag. The clue should have perhaps been the cap on the tube as that was black. I don't buy these regularly enough to confirm that the tube cap denotes the colour.It's too little money to return and black is always useful as a filler for other jobs.

This was more a very dark charcoal grey than black but better than gaps that we had so OK I guess

Absolutely brilliant. Product speaks for itself only one to use if you want that great finish. The seller was amazing and I cannot recommend enough. I contacted the seller to ask if they would dispatch as quick as possible and they did and I got it the next day. Went above and beyond and will use seller again wherever possible

Used to repair a small chip in lino floor. Very easy to apply, wait 5 minutes then clean off excess with solvent cleaner provided. Brilliant result as I now struggle to find the spot that was damaged!

Unika ColorFill is a great product which is easy to apply with no mess and gives the desired effect required.
