OdorStop OS144PRO1 UV Air Purifier 144W System with Energy Saving Airflow Sensor and 16-in Bulbs

My husband hasn't installed the product yet but we plugged it up and it does work. Seems to be good quality and a very sturdy product. My husband thinks the installation will be fairly simple. This blows some of the smaller single lights out of the water. It is def worth the extra money if u are wanting a UVC light for your HVAC system. And that way if one light blows ur still covered as with a single bulb u would have nothing. I love UVC lights and can't wait to have this installed!

Was just able to get this installed due to the necessary placement ( required a 20ft ladder and a HVAC tech to get to the right place in my building ) and it worked a total of 1 day.When installed it seemed to be just the ticket - the tech reported the instructions were good, it went in easily and was the correct size for the application, and it turned on and worked fine - until the next day, when it worked for 2 hours, went off with the a/c, but never turned on again.fuses and breakers seem fine. It is just a lemon unit and we are stuck.This is the worst ripoff I have ever gotten from Amazon.I DO NOTRECOMMEND THAT YOU ORDER FROM ODORSTOP

Installed in duct at the exit of the air handler because no room by the 'A' coil. Easy to install and product worked well.NOTE: Because I installed in the duct (duct was thick) I had to extend the air sensor wire.Ran my A/C unit fan for 24 hours as instructions suggested, note - small odor (as instructions mentioned) but not bad.After 2 days my wife has not had allergies -- :-)

The only good thing about this unit is their customer support and willingness to send new parts. The issues: 1. the unit is definitely NOT easy to install. it requires cutting existing HVAC duct. Unless you are handy the professional will charge you a few hundred $ to do that. It mounts to the duct using sheet metal screws which, if you follow bulb cleaning and replacement schedule suggested by the manufacturer (clean every 3 mo and replace every 12 mo), strip the drilled holes within few changes (I used manual Phillips to make sure this does not happen : did not work). 2. I installed my unit in November of '21, first set of bulbs burned out in December '21. Company sent new bulbs free. Installed in dec '21. The unit itself stopped working in February '22. They replaced it with new one. All bulbs burned out in March '22. I purchased new set from Amazon (cost $100, made by the same company). The new set lasted till June '22. Called the company with complaint ; replaced fro free. At this point 3 screws stripped holes in the duct from constant reinstallation. This set burned out in sept '22. Company sent new set again. Unit stopped working again December '22; air flow sensor came apart spontaneously. I patched it with aluminum foil while waiting for new one. Company sent new one with new set of bulbs. All burned out by mid march '23. Finally indicator lights DO NOT CORRELATE to the bulbs in any particular order. Once indicator light is out I called help desk and was told to take the unit out, plug it in then look at the UV BULBS (which is known to cause severe retina damage and more) wearing sunglasses to determine which bulb needs replacement. All the trouble, time and money for bulbs adds to more money than a single professional electronic Honeywell air purification unit costs (installed it on my other HVAC system to compare: no bulbs to replace and cells are simply washed in either dishwasher or hose and detergent in the yard). The latter truly makes air smell better ; warning it is efficient enough to remove the smell of any scented candles your loved one lights up...

Installation was easy. The air may have been cleaner, but not noticeable as others have mentioned. Disappointed that 2 of the 4 bulbs have failed within 5 months of installation.Update: a month later, 3 of the 4 bulbs are out.

The units installed easily . I installed two, one for each of my HVAC units ( main and upstairs). Bulbs did not fit securely and two blew right out of the box - which in turn blew the fuse . I have not removed the unit to replace or check the bulbs . I will and give more feedback once I get in a remove the unit and check the issues .

Great value, came very quickly. I love that is is more energy efficient than some other models. Easy to install.

I have purchase 4 of these units for my dog kennels. I also bought replacement bulbs just in case. The systems all break within 4 months of installation. I tried changing bulbs, still don’t work. Great customer service and they fix them but then they just break again!! They do work well when they work.
