Deluxe Ceramic Knife Set- 4" Paring and 6" Chef Knife in Elegant Magnetic Box

I was doing a lot of research, looking for a good ceramic knife, without paying a small fortune. I didn't want a whole set of knives, really just wanted 1, a pairing knife to cut avocados of all things. Cutting an avocado with a ceramic (or plastic) knife will keep it from turning brown right away; metal makes them turn brown almost immediately. Anyways, in my search I found these knives and although these knives were a 2 knife set, I liked the reviews I read and I liked the price for 2 so I made the purchase. They arrived in a nice box, secure in the packaging and a quick arrival as well. I was very pleasantly surprised when I opened the box, these knives were beautiful. Although I bought them for their functionality, it made me happy that these knives were not like my other plain, boring metal knives. The knives feel good when I'm holding them; the material on the handles is soft and feels kind of like velvet to me, the grip is comfortable and the red color is beautiful. And of course, the real reason I purchased the ceramic knives to begin with was for cutting slices of avocado and keeping it from turning brown immediately, not to mention being sharp and cutting with ease. With all this said, these knives did the trick! So, if you're looking for a good ceramic knife, this 2 knife set of Agapis Ceramic knives is a great purchase. The price and the quality are excellent!

 We prepare home food, most of the times, and having good knives is just very important. But it proved that it is not that easy to find the really good ones. So far, this set proves to be a very good choice. Extremely sharp, they will cut fruits and vegetables in no time and extremely smooth. Home made bread, usually pretty soft, will not bend under the knife pressure as these beauties really cut. Knives have a very nice touch and feel (silky/chamois cloth like) and are very light (the lightest we have ever used). It's a totally new and refreshing experience using them. Package is also very nice - as shown in the product pictures.

I've bought these knives to start a transition from steel to ceramic in my kitchen as I've been recently introduced to the benefits of zirconium dioxide. The price is fantastic for such great knives! I've already tried them on fruits, sushi grade fish and red meat. Flawlessly sharp! I am extremely satisfied with this product and I am happy I won't have to spend time every month sharpening these knives! They do no rust, are easy to clean and they do not oxidize the food.And on top of everything else they have a very nice design: the satin red handle beautifully complements the dark blade, a nice touch to anyone's kitchen. Add to this the elegant gift box and not only you have a great quality product in your house but you can also order more and use them as presents for the upcoming holiday season!The delivery was fast and the gift box was very carefully packaged. I would wholeheartedly recommend this product and I'll definitely keep an eye out for new products coming from this seller.

These beautiful knives are a pleasure to use. They are very well made and the handles make them so comfortable to use. I wish they would have come with sheaths to protect them when I put them away in my silverware drawer though.Update: After using these for a couple months, I'm no longer impressed with ceramic knives. They really don't seem to stay sharp. I've been very careful too - only using them on a plastic (nylon?) cutting board and only handwashing them. They still are very pretty though.

I bought these as a gift and they look amazing! I like the quality packaging, the black blades, and the soft handles. I tried slicing through paper and they didn’t seem as sharp as I thought they would be, but I hope they are better on actual food.

I have wanted ceramic knives for many years, and the price on this set was too tempting to resist. They are beautiful and cut beautifully. I've just received them and they done well against watermelon and tomato.The rating is only 4-stars owing to the lack of knife cases or sleeves. The box they came in protects the knives well but is impractical for my kitchen.

I recently moved out for the first time and really needed some cutting knives. I don't have much experience shopping for these items but when I went on Amazon. I saw these and liked the color. Once we received them and began using them, I have to say they are perfect. Great for slicing everything. I wish there were more sizes and kinds but the two are good for now.
