I took me a while to give a review for this book. I didn’t know how to express my gratitude to Tasha for writing this excellent piece of Leadership Art according to basic Ethics, morals and respect; unfortunately these attributes are hard to find nowadays in between leaders and that’s why we see people every day depressed, with emotional burn outs and annoyed by their jobs, when it could be happy and fun… because there, people is more productive! I have recommended this book to everyone around me; I even bought the book for them when I noticed they were taking too long to buy it. I just couldn’t wait to talk about it with people and to introduce them to it. The book is very simple to understand and give us clear samples of what good leaders and bad leaders are. I don't read a lot of leadership books. They tell good stories and they can be inspiring, but they're not usually very practical. This book is completely different. It's modern, it's just a bit edgy, but mostly it's very, very practical. Eurich gives you specifics for how to actually achieve better people leadership day to day. She explains how to tackle all sorts of problems that come up and gives you simple systems that apply in most situations. But she's also helped make me a better self-leader, if that's a word. She helped change my thinking about a lot of things. If you're a leader, you should get this book. It's a great reference manual, too. You can just read any chapter you want to get help with a specific issue.

The book brings you in touch with reality and reminds one the need to invest in people. The lessons can be applied in every area where one deals with people. Very relevant and practical book, I recommend it to anyone in leadership role.

Unbelievable, Can't describe how rich is this book, it touches reality, all levels in Business. The genius of this book is in the addressing of the conventional wisdom that leaders either are hard driving results-only oriented tyrants or people focused softies who cannot drive the business forward. Through her research and firsthand work with numerous organizations, Dr. Eurich outlines a different approach that moves us from "either/or" to a productive, balanced "and". Her model brings these behaviors to life in a tangible and engaging way. Her voice and personality show up throughout the book making this read not only effective but also entertaining. If you're looking for a practical guide for your leadership journey, Bankable Leadership is it.

Truly the best book I have read in quite sometime. Clear, practical, and actionable advice. The author also manages to make this book way more interesting of a read than the topic would otherwise deserve. The personal stories and anecdotes make the book both informative and entertaining. I wouldn't be surprised if this book suddenly landed on a best sellers list for business if it lands in the right hands...........

So glad I bought this book before I began leading/managing a team! I took the free, on line assessment, and used the results to change my leadership ways of interacting with my team, e.g., I self-disclosed at our first team meeting; just doing that one thing made a huge difference from that point forward. I'm no longer leading that same team, but I still find myself practicing Dr. T's bankable leadership qualities . . . it's good to grow on.

A good primer for young leaders, but a bit fundamental for the seasoned group - but a good refresher.
