Super Met-Al 5053 05053, Almond Grout & Tile Marker, 9.8ml

Love, love, love!!! I ordered the black at first and it worked so well that I ordered both white and almond. I have used another product to paint the grout before, but it used a paint brush / tooth brush and was tedious! This works just like you are using a marker! It is amazing. Use as directed, shake it for the 2 minutes before and prime the tip. Every so often repeat that. You will be tempted to push hard, but I found that when you don't press hard it works best. Black covered in 1 coat, and amazing how much you can cover with 1 pen! I covered my hallway and bath using just 1 and 3/4 pens. The white and Almond needed 2 coats. Previous reviewer didn't like the almond, but mine matched perfect.Definitely recommend!!!

Did the "trick" on my shower wall tiles! Takes a little practice to learn to hold it upside down ... wick down ... and release a little liquid into wick first ... before applying. It isn't "pressing" the wick hard against the grout that does it ... but rather easing the liquid into the wick first. It's a little tricky ... but practice will quickly make it clear.

WOW...it my bathroom looked brand new again! Depends upon your desire to work but I felt that the results were worth every minute I spent doing it. Just be sure to clean the floor and grout thoroughly before you start and let the floor dry out.

I got this product today and tried it on my tile floor, well the first pen tip broke right away and i though maybe it was just a bad one . then I went to the second pen and it feel apart, I don't know how this product would get even one star , Do not do it garbage product

I ordered 2 sets of these.... if all had worked like the 2 best ones, I would have been very happy...but alas, the others seemed to be dried out and only lasted for a few small tiles..... I would love to see this product again in a New and Improved format

Follow directions and shake these the full time and also prime - pump the tip about 20 times to get the paint flowing at first. Once I got the process down, it was quite easy. I covered all the grout in a 900 sq ft condo with 8 of these pens. It did take me about a week to do this, working about 2 1/2 hours a day. The results really make the floors look better than new because the grout color looks better than the rough grout.

We had dirty looking grout lines because I think our grout was not sealed, and even cleaning them was not enough. Since we didn't want to expend the time and cost of removing and replacing the old grout, we used these markers. I could not believe how they made the grout look brand new. We even used these markers to color the edges around the counter tops areas where they were starting to come apart, and it made the damage less noticeable.

after submitting this review; I was able to get more paint from some of the markers that I though were empty by turning them upside down for a few hours; that seemed to help and I could use them to finish my project (whirlpool tub tile surround); I have since ordered more markers to use on the shower. original review: markers did not cover as much as advertised; ordered six which would have been several more than I needed if they covered as advertised; I've already used five and I'm not sure I will be able to finish my project without ordering more; at least three of the five had very little paint in them; the color was as advertised

I got this in the almond color which was perfect. It worked pretty well. The only thing is it’s incredibly time consuming! I am happy with the results though. Just a couple tips for application, try to keep the top very saturated by shaking often and tapping and it goes on more evenly with very light pressure.

I had high expectations even after reading the reviews for this product. The first ten minutes were amazing and then I noticed fibres hanging off the tip. Within 30 minutes the tip was worn down to a nub. No I was not applying too much pressure. The pen is full and I’ve barely done an tenth of my kitchen. I read one review where she opened the tube and used a paint brush. I guess that’s next.

Grout pen is not easy flowing, took much time to keep this pen working. Stopping to press down to allow the paint to flow, shaking the pen and so on was time consuming. Also long after the recommended drying time, the paint washed off anyways! Not a good buy.

I had high hopes when using this paint to cover grout in my kitchen. It looked fantastic initially, but after a few weeks the paint hasn’t held up. In the high traffic areas it is wearing off. We mop our floors weekly.This would be a fantastic product if you are selling your house and need a quick solution, but not suitable for long term use.

love these. easy to use and one pen lasts long. I did my whole kitchen and the entry way to the front door with one pen.
