The monitor arrived in impressive packaging and seems robustly made in spite of its small size. Easy to place on the arm with good Velcro fastening, it is much quieter and faster in use than my previous BP monitor, and also gives readings that subjectively seem more accurate. I say this because I know that my previous device gave a lower systolic reading than the one at my GP’s surgery and having compared this with my previous device, the systolic reading is a few points higher. In addition, this device has the added convenience of being one piece and compact, making it easily transported if required.The Bluetooth connected easily to the downloaded app (I have it on an iPhone) which shows the progress of the current reading as well as keeping a record of previous readings in graph form and displaying the weekly average. I find this really helpful and in the long term it will give a good indication of the success (or otherwise) of my attempts to reduce my medication by continuing to make lifestyle changes to improve my blood pressure. There is an also an excellent facility in the app to download daily results for transmission to one’s GP.In the absence of the phone, the monitor screen shows the results of the measurement and it stores a good number of BP readings which it transmits to the app when next connected. I have not had it long enough to test this but the manual suggests that the monitor has storage capacity for 50 readings before there is a requirement to download to the app.The ECG monitor is easy to use and reliable. In my case this is an interesting extra but for those with a history of cardiac irregularities I guess it could give vital information.I have not used other equivalent one piece BP monitors but this item is cheaper than the others I looked at on the Amazon site, particularly as it has the additional ECG function. Frankly, I cannot see how any other could improve on this device for regular, easy and reliable blood pressure monitoring

I was looking for a new blood pressure monitor after my QuardioArm stopped working. At first, I was thinking about Withings and Omron BP machines but was surprised by the number of negative feedback. Then I came across ViATOM - it was the first time I've heard of the brand but I was reassured by the FDA and CE approvals they obtained and the reviews I found online. The machine is light, compact and very easy to use - it's operated just by 2 buttons. It comes with an app which works fine - it's probably the easiest bluetooth pairing I've ever done. I use an iPhone and it pairs seamlessly with Apple Health, allows to extract and share the data, and tag it if you use multiple users. The blood pressure readings are accurate - I've compared with with an older (non-wireless) machine I had at home. ECG is a great add-on - apparently you can use it in 4 different positions. I've only tested it in one of them and works fine. The instructions are easy to follow and it comes with a 1-year guarantee. The product is very reasonably priced and I'm very happy with the purchase!

I have had a collection of sphyg’s but this is a very neat one. I’ll grant you it’s expensive but it responds well and gives a clear result. The connection with the app can be a little finicky but it does the job and keeps a clear record. Adding two users also works so individual reports can be collected to email. The ECG is okay with an analysis tool that has only said no follow up required, but that’s a good thing right?. It comes in a nice robust box which protects it and has room for the pulse oximetry, which works on the same app. Worth the money? Yes

Great value, simple to use and very accurate readings which can be stored on the device, app & able to forward to your doctor. Excellent battery life between recharging, nice feel quality product with easy to read display. Can be used alone but offers great connectivity via Bluetooth to mobile device, The only negative feedback I can give is that a carry case or bag would be handy for storage

I bought this as a light weight option and for the app tracking and ECG function.The blood pressure level was spot on when compared to a medical grade omron device.But after a few uses it started giving out strange readings compared to my omron.I then realized it was leaking as there was a hiss coming from the cuff after it's initial inflation during the reading period was a audible air escape noise before its programmed deflation. You only had to get your ear near it to hear that air was slowly escaping and you could feel the tension of the cuff change before its deflation cycle starts.Was initially very impressed by it's design and accuracy, maybe I got unlucky and had a badly made one being as I can't seem to find other leak complaints on here.Hopefully I can get it resolved.
