Wilson Composite Football

Well made quality football. I use it with my 7 year old. Seems to be the same “pee-wee” size used in his league. I’ve shopped for equivalent sized footballs in Walmart and other big box sporting good stores, but none of them had this level of quality football. That being said, those balls were all under $9 as compared to this one so I debated it, but I’m very happy with the purchase. While I can’t comment on durability only 30 days in, I can say that the ball is has a good feel and grip (not a plastic or cheap feeling). To me this is the most important, it should feel good throwing and catching like a quality made ball... and this does!! Just buy it.

We love this little ball. It's awesome and fun to have for the family. My wife has small hands and my daughter is 7. So this ball is perfect for us to throw around for fun. Its built well and soft enough that it doesn't hurt much if you accidentally get hit with it. We like it so much that we've bought 2 others as gifts for younger boys. If you have a girl or boy under 12 or just want a casual football to throw around I would highly reccomend this one.

I know a lot people use this football for autographs or photography; however, it's actually great for just playing catch. I use it regularly with my 6-year old son and it's the perfect size for his hands. He can actually zip it with a tight spiral. A peewee size ball is a bit too big for him right now, so this was a great alternative. We used it all summer and it's held up well, despite being skipped across the driveway hundreds of times.

This is a great football for a small child to grip. I purchased another one first and had to return it because the writing on the ball covered half of the ball and the writing was very slippery. The other ball was too hard to grip so it was returned and this ball is perfect. It also happens to be the exact ball that they use in my kids flag football program. Highly recommend this ball.

This football was for my son. We’ve used it numerous times to play with and practice with. It’s very grippy the materials are good quality and most of all he loves it. I’ll probably buy another soon.

Got this just to mess around with on game days. It's just as good as the bigger balls. Take a damp rag to it and then dry it off good, it'll be easier to grip. Came pumped up, but not the whole way. Inflate 2-4 pounds. You can use these for autograph balls, but I'd recommend the ones with the white sides. It's kind of hard to see black sharpie on this. Good for ages 2-8, I'd look into the junior size for older kids.

Got this for my son. The size is surprisingly small in an adult's hands but for my 4 year old, he is able to throw is nicely. I would say its about the same size as a NERF football. The Ball itself looks nice and yes, it is NOT leather. But honestly, for $11 did anyone really expect it to be Leather? Great first football. He loves it.

This is a very nice, but typical Wilson composite football. The size is intended for High School age kids and is made very well and is intended to last a long time with heavy abuse. I really like the Wilson college footballs, and this is built the same, just a bit smaller. My one small negative, I love the look of this ball, it feels solid, has good grip (for composite) and throws really well, but the one thing that gets me... put a sticker on the ball with the barcode and other useless junk... don't burn this in to the ball itself... you take an awesome looking ball with the classic Wilson logo, add TDS and then mess it up with useless junk... Like I said it's just a small negative and more of a personal preference.

L'oggetto sarebbe anche bello, ma la valvola perde e si sgonfia dopo qualche minuto. Appena avrò tempo passerò dall'ufficio postale per fare il reso. AGGIORNAMENTO: ho fatto il reso, ne ho acquistato un altro, d'altronde a me interessa proprio questo prodotto. La valvola del secondo pallone apparentemente è integra, ma la palla si sgonfia dopo qualche minuto. Non effettuerò altri resi perché ho altre cose da fare che non mandare avanti e indietro palle da football fallate.

I bought this American football for my English nephew. He already has many footballs, but this is his first American one. It was a great hit and the name Wilson seems to be very important in football circles. Thank you Amazon for helping an out of date wrinkly like me to get it right !
