Love it
I hesitated in getting a Telstar as they seemed a lot for what they are. I trawled through the reviews and although most a glowing, further back there are a few negative reviews around quality and prize. I finally decided to get one (Blue & pint lava) thinking if it was crap I’d just send it back. Delivery was next day despite saying it would be 3-4 days. Annoyed I had to pay delivery as I’m a prime member. Note if you buy direct from Mathmos , delivery is free. It arrived really well packaged and the quality is great. Real metal components and quite sturdy. The colours in the lava are lovely. It really is as good quality as I hoped. My wife says she hates lava lamps and the deal was that it stays in my office, but even she admits it’s nicer than she expected.

Beautiful lamp, but faulty
The media could not be loaded. Well the quality is superb. Very heavy. But the bulbs keep blowing every two to three days! Mathmos sent new bulbs but still blowing. Can’t just get a refund from Amazon either. You have to get it from Mathmos directly which is ridiculous for a faulty item. Would avoid the rocket version as normal Mathmos lamp is fine
