I love the details in the Prima molds. I have used two brands of air dry clay, Magic Model clay by Crayola and foam clay. I haven't yet used plaster of Paris but I intend to try it. On this particular mold the swag breaks with the air dry clays. I have used it several times. The foam clays are a bit more flexible but take a long time to dry. I have not used it with wax as I don't believe the design is suitable.

They are parts of the mold where the image is very narrow and to get the clay out is a pain no matter how much vaseline or starch you put on it and it brakes it should be a bit bigger.

I bought three of these mounds. Will NOT be buying any more. Mounds are thin and the details on the cherub were not good. On the rose mould I had difficulty in getting the narrow stems to release. I also bought the lock mould but have not tried it. IOD mounds are much superior. I tried both DAS clay and IOD clay in them and tried the mounds with and without using cornstarch to aid in releasing the clay. The result with the IOD clay was better, but not anywhere near the results you can get with IOD mounds.

Liked that I could use my glue gun and it popped right out. We used clay as well. Worked great. We tried other type of project clay. Loved this product, we will be ordering more from this brand.

Rlly pretty I used cement in these to make some molds I will say u definitely need to spray some non stick cooking spray unless u want ur mold to break a bit of spray and it made the process much easier

Iod moulds always have great detail. Sometimes a bit hard to remove but putting them in the freezer for about 15-30 minutes usually helps.

Very thick and sturdy. Very detailed and perfect for crafting. They will last a long time I love these moulds.
