Perimenopause has made my hair fall out in huge clumps every time i wash it (every other day) It was getting to the point where i starting to notice the loss while styling. Selenium and Saw Palmetto together were given as an option when i searched amazon. They actually work for me. Nothing else has so far, but these together have made a difference in how much i'm shedding. I'm so grateful.

This selenium supplement is an easy to swallow capsule with no aftertaste. I haven't used it long enough to see whether it helps support my 56 year old memory. My husband is also trying it out to see if it helps with immunity. I expect that it will work as promised. If it doesn't help either of us, I will update this review.FYI: Selenium is needed for certain enzymes that help with normal body functions and is also being used in hope of preventing certain types of cancer. According to the Mayo Clinic adult males should have 40 to 70 micrograms (mcg) per day and adult females—45 to 55 mcg per day. Each capsule has 200 mcg, so I wouldn't take it daily without speaking to a physician first.

So I don't know if it is just in my head or not. I started taking this vitamin a week ago. I was feeling like I was starting to come down with a cold or something. (Maybe allergies) anyway I started taking the Selenium last week. I never got the cold that I felt was starting! Like I feel like this vitamin stopped it from happening! The only downside to this supplement to me is that it has a really bad smell to it. Other than the smell I think its great.

I've been taking this for just over a month and my energy is up, I don't feel so sluggish. My doc had been talking about the possibility of thyroid being the case of my extra fatigue.... well this did it for me! No need for prescriptions. I also am a huge believer in Elderberry for immune support but when my boys caught a common cold from summer camp, I gave them elderberry and held off for me since this also boosts the immune system. Never a sniffle or sneeze. So well worth the money, definitely continuing this supplement.

I have tried holding my breath but the aftertaste lingers as well as the rancid burps. I gag. Every. Single. Time. Smells like dirty drawers. Better off eating a few Brazil nuts everyday than dealing with thus.

This product works great for my thyroid and helps hormonal imbalance. I was able to sleep well at night after taking it and feel more rested and relax more than before. I like how it is not as expensive as other brands and is easy to swallow and no odor as well. Very good for overall health.

I work 6-7 days a week and workout 5-6 times a week. I needed something to help with the fatigue from daily life. I tried selenium and it has really helped a lot with my energy level. I feel less fatigued and more energized after taking selenium for only 10 days. I would recommend giving this product a try!

Purchased this for thyroid disorder. Easy to swallow. A bit of a smell to them but have not had selenium alone. Always as an ingredient in other thyroid supplements. Hoping to see results for hair loss and fatique. Too soon to know for sure if it is working. 100 capsules can last over 3 months, so will hopefully see an improvement after the first bottle.
