I recommend this study for anyone who wants help studying the Bible. I did this as a group at church with some ladies I disciple. Caroline does a great job at making the Bible not so scary to study.The leader kit is a separate listing and includes the weekly teaching videos, so consider doing this study in a group.

Great book

My 12 year old daughter and I did this study in a group at our church. We had access to all the videos which are available in the Leader’s Kit. This was my daughter’s first exposure to what it means to truly study the Word, rather than just reading it casually or listening to a youth leader explain a passage. The author does a great job of breaking down a “recipe” to follow that can be applied to any portion of scripture that you would want to study. It equipped my daughter with the tools she will need to study the scriptures with integrity for understanding and application. The study guide was easy to understand and as helpful to me as it was to my daughter. I would highly recommend this for youth groups, mother-daughter groups, Church small groups, or women’s bible study groups.

I learned so many helpful skills for Bible reading from this study! This is the participant book, so be sure to also get the Leader Guide so you have access to the videos. The ladies from our church did this study as a group with an awesome leader. I would highly recommend doing it this way as there is so much rich information in the videos and such a great opportunity to share and learn together as a group. This study was written for high school girls but absolutely perfect for women of all ages. You will be challenged to think outside the box and dive deep into the word! Pam W.

This item requires watching a video which was not in the description at the time of purchase. Hard to navigate trying to find where this video is since it didn't come with the book. I will be returning this item.

I love the concept, but I wish it could be used as an independent study guide. I get that the author has to sometimes make a choice. I just wish I had known. That said, I love the idea of teaching inductive Bible study. I teach adults and my own kids, but I haven't found a good book to recommend to other families. It's expensive to buy the whole leader kit for one. I wish the kit was an enhancement but not a necessity. I have a book that isn't usable without a substantial purchase, and I'm really not sure what I'm getting. I don't know the content without seeing/hearing it. I don't want to recommend or give it away without that. This is very much intended for a group of girls and may be great for that. I hope this helps. Is there a way to view materials before purchase? Otherwise, we are just risking word of mouth or reviews.
