Tracer 6 x Replacement Lead Dispenser (including 6 x 2B Dark Graphite Replacement Leads)

I bought this as a bit of a treat as I do a lot of wood working and find the traditional carpenters pencils to be a bit cumbersome due to their shape. This is really handy as it comes in a case that securely fits to you pocket and the actual pencil bit sits nicely in the case. The case also has an integrated sharpener so you can maintain a really good point, which in turn helps with accuracy. The graphite that comes with the kit is perfect, not too soft, not too hard so it’s tends to make most surfaces clearly. Best of all, I’ve had this for several months now without losing it so the case and pencil system are certainly doing their thing.

I thought I may be wasting g my mo ey here. But I was pleasantly surprised. Very useful tool and much better that carpinteros pencils with multiple more uses. I would.say spend the mo ey. It will save its cost multiple.times over in the time it saves you.

The product appears to be well put together and is slightly thicker than I had imagined, so I needed something like a 6mm hole in the first work piece to insert the marker through. Problem with it being a lead pencil its mark is a similar colour to mild steel so not so as useful on this type of metal as it would be with on say timber.

My first work pencil and it's absolutely ideal. I've always struggled with normal pencils. Can never find one, or a sharpener and normally end up using a pen, which is not ideal. This is perfect, with the integrated sharpener and clip on holder, meaning it's always close by. With the extendable lead, it make it easy to mark through deep fixings too. It's not the cheepest but definitely a case of you get what you pay for here.

I didn't think this would be as good as it is. It marks all kinds of surfaces clearly and has a sharpener built in, replacement leads are cheap enough, I ordered some and another Tracer, very happy....

Easy to use except always falls out of my pocket when I lean over, little hook just doesn’t grip. Replacement leads are also VERY expensive. I’m now knee deep in this product and got used to it, but would prob not buy over again. Durable enough, looks nice, works ok, nothing to write home about. Easy to sharpen. I don’t like the pencil case, it’s awkward.

Happy with purchase still in holder not used yet but I'm sure they are going to be just as good as the one with the pencil
