Small Succulent Cuttings Packages

I have ordered succulent cuttings from at least 4 different companies on Amazon and this is the absolute BEST company in terms of value, quality, speed of delivery, packaging, customer service. I've now ordered at least 5 times from Fat Plants and every time I have gotten beautiful quality, large sized cuttings in a wide array of varieties---and I can say after over a year that once planted properly the cuttings flourish. The succulents are sent in a box with shredded paper carefully protecting them. I think inevitably with each order there would be a few little delicate pieces of one or two plants that come off in shipping--BUT IMO that's nothing when you get like 24 of 25 plants that are perfect when you're dealing with something so delicate. PLUS I've learned that you can actually get the small pieces of many succulents and plant those and get a succulent plant to grow---so it's almost like seeds. The company always sends cute little pictures of succulents and you can tell it's a place that really is into succulents and really cares about sending a quality product. Oh, and the speed of delivery is INSANE. Like recently around the holidays I ordered a bunch of stuff on Amazon in addition to the cuttings and I figured the cuttings would take at least a week to arrive, but they actually came BEFORE all of the basic household products I bought. The day after I placed my order I got a notice that they shipped. I don't know much about the names of the succulents but each time I've ordered I've gotten really unique and totally different types of plants. This place really is amazing and they know what they are doing! I can't say enough great things about them! Oh--and BTW to anyone new to succulents, I've learned that getting cuttings is the way to go---to pay like $35 or so for 25+ cuttings sure beats paying $5-$10 a plant for plants that are already potted--you'll save SO much money and get much more unique plants overall than what you could get from most local stores.

I just received my box of succulents today. It arrived one day late, but that wasn’t too bad in my opinion. It was packaged very well and contained about 30 different plants of different sizes. I didn’t specify what I wanted when I ordered, so I was happy with the variety that came in. Mine had a lot of the big “flower” type, which I was happy with, and a lot of more exotic looking smaller pieces. It did not come with the “fire stick” succulent or any cacti looking plants, which I was disappointed with, but again, I didn’t specify what I wanted so that’s my own fault. You do have an option when you order to specify. Regardless, I did get many other beautiful pieces.The box does not come with any type of instructions readily handy for those new to succulents. It does give you the option to request an e-book with tips for growing, but I was looking for paper instructions that I could readily use. Also, if you are new to succulents, there is no picture index to tell you what you are looking at. I’m interested to know the names of the plants I got, but I have no idea what they are. I think that would be an easy thing to add to the package to increase positive reviews.I’ve attached two pictures of how I used my succulents, but I need to go out and buy another big pot—I still have a box of succulents I haven’t used yet! That’s how many they give you. Great deal.These succulents are beautiful and healthy, and I would absolutely buy again from this company.

What can I say, except I'm extremely happy with my cuttings I just received today. Let me 1st start with their customer service. I had a few questions about the cuttings and where I live. Marisa and Drew were so kind in responding to my concerns and questions. They got back to me quickly and they were very nice.Next, the arrival of my package was prompt and they arrived safely. The team at Fat Plants San Diego packaged these little gems very well. You can tell it was done with care. My variety was packed in 3 different ways. The taller ones in a paper bag that kept them from bending or breaking, the little cactus were in their own separate box with moss and packing shreds, then the majority of the succulents in a larger box layered between moss and packing shreds. Not a broken leaf or stem in the bunch.The variety. I did not receive any doubles here. I even received a few extra (thank you Fat Plants). Every cutting was different and each has their own beauty. However, I must admit, I was excited to get a kalanchoe and crassula. I cannot wait to get these in soil and watch them grow. I just had to let my fellow Amazon customers know what great cuttings these are first. Just a reminder, as with all cuttings, some of the cuttings will look a little tired before they perk back up. If you are looking for a great variety and beautiful succulents give these cuttings from Fat Plants San Diego a try. I really don't think you'll be disappointed. Happy Succulent Planting!

These plants are fabulous! I expected to receive tiny snippets of plants but was pleasantly surprised that I received rather large plants (rosettes, stalks, and fully formed segments). I've only had for about 10 days but many of the plants are already growing babies or flower stems. I did add a bit of powdered growth hormone and planted in succulent soil.Succulents can be very pricey if bought from the garden shop and this assortment was a great, economical way to get a wide variety of plants at a very reasonable price. Because of the quality of these plants, I anticipate that they will all survive and thrive. Knowing how quickly succulents grow, I expect to have several full filled large planters by the end of the summer.I not only love the plants but the packaging was such a pleasant surprise. The plants came in several small boxes inside the outer shipping box. The plants were nestled inside pretty filler that not only protected them in shipping but made such a nice presentation. Also included were cards and a magnet that had gorgeous pictures of cacti. It really was like receiving a gift.I highly recommend this assortment of succulents. They arrived quickly and healthy. What more could you ask for?
