Great beginner piano
My daughter recently started taking piano lessons. We were looking for a weighted keyboard for her to have at home to practice on. I did get this one on sale, which is what originally caught my eye, and then after reading reviews was impressed with what others had to say. My daughter absolutely loves it and it’s very good quality so much so that my mom bought one for her house for my daughter to practice on. It looks like a nice piece of furniture. The keyboard top is soft clothes and the keys are nicely weighted. Quality is good. Sound quality is also good and the bench that I purchased to go with it also provide storage to keep all of her learning books.

great piano for beginners and beyond, works with headphones!
The media could not be loaded. I'm an amateur musician and purchased a Donner Electronic Keyboard around Christmas and loved it! My son is the real piano player though, and with him going away to college it was either give him "my" keyboard, or get him a new piano. Obviously a "full" piano is not an option for a college student, too heavy, too expensive (especially since pianos need to be tuned regularly, etc...) and this Donner piano is a great option. It was really easy to assemble and while it's MDF and not solid wood, the black veneer looks good (see pictures). I measured the top of the white keys at 28 inches off the ground, which is the expected size for a piano, so this is not "toy" size and has a full 88 keys. The keys feel really good, the top of the black keys is slightly textured and not 100% smooth, which seems to be normal for Donner pianos, even though the keys of the piano I grew up with had the black keys as smooth as the white keys. Probably depends on the manufacturer. There are 2 headphone jacks, as I describe in the video, so you could have a teacher and a student both listen without disturbing those around them. The piano sounds pretty good and can be loud, I also connected it to an amplified speaker and it sounded gorgeous and very loud, so you can get the full range! There are connectors in the back, which is not always easiest for access, and even a USB computer connection but I don't know how to use it. I will likely send Donner an email to see how to use it, I'm hoping I can record my playing into a computer. All in all a really good purchase, a much better option for beginners that buying a full upright pianoSorry about the video quality, I'm better at music than video, hope it helps anyway

Great quality for price
Very nice quality on wood stand black ebony looks and feels like real wood keyboard is very similar to traditional keyboard. Fit perfect in my limited space along wall. Basic no frills digital piano with great sound. The piano bench is great very sturdy has storage and easy to assemble. I’m very pleased and it was easy to assemble. Did myself in less than 30 minutes. I’m a fan !

Nice compact piano option!
I am super happy with this electric piano. I played piano as a child and wanted to get back into it. I didn't want to deal with the handling and space required for a traditional piano - and I wanted to the ability to listen to headphones to not disturb others. The sound is nice, the keys have a nice feel to them compared to cheaper keyboards, and it is a nice size. My only complaint is that the sheet music stand that folds out is a little bit shallow - but some of that is on me for wanting to store more than just what I am playing at that time on it.

So far, so good!
So far this piano has not disappointed. It’s beautiful and elegant. The attention to detail is quite nice in regards to the frame, key cover, and the built in music stand. It’s sturdy and the sound is great. It’s sound quality is clear and the keys are weighted. The weight obviously isn’t identical but close enough that I feel confident to play a real piano without trouble adapting. The pedals are well made also and seem to work properly. I’ve had no issues with this piano and the quality is great for the money. The bench is good quality as well. Sturdy, great cushion, and storage compartment is handy.100% recommend. If I have any issues in the future I will update my review.

Great piano for the money! Highly recommended!
We all know...Ya' get what you pay for. There are digital piano's out there that cost $2000 and up! I just received mine today. I'm very happy with this piano for the money and definitely recommend it for someone who just wants to learn or just wants to have some fun. It's actually more than I expected. Built very solid and good volume which was one of my main concerns.I got rid of my old beat up standard console piano about 10 years ago so I haven't played since then. I'm a little rusty to say the least. I am now retired and have more time on my hand so I'm going to dust off my fingers again and have some fun!If I don't lose interest and continue to play for a year or so, I may sell this one ( or give it to a family member) eventually and get one of those $2000 pianos. I'm sure the action is much better on a more expensive model. Again. Ya' get what you pay for.Or... maybe this one will get me through the rest of my years once I get a little more comfortable with it. By the way Assembly / Set up was super easy. Once I had everything unwrapped, it was about10 minutes all by myself. Enjoy!UPDATE.... Now that I have had this piano for several months, I am enjoying it more than I thought I would. The grace of my chord changes were not as smooth when I first starting playing it but they have actually become much better after some use. My fingers seemed to being "slightly" sticking to the keys at 1st but now they glide on and off noticeably better. Maybe because the natural oils of my fingers are on the keys now? Anyway, give it sometime before you judge it. I love this piano now and am having a lot of fun!
