Cross-country table top gaming made easy
I bought this for a friend to use as a game master I was playing in. He was originally using his computer microphone and I couldn't hear any of the other players. Once we started using this mic, everyone came in clearly and I was able to participate more fully in the game.

Does not work
Unless you are holding it right in front of your face, it does not pick up any audio. Got it for a conference mic to set in the middle of a table for three or four for Zoom meetings. Failure.

Great Product
Sound worked great! In a 25x16 foot room in my house, zoom could hear from all areas

Works fine but it clearly sounds like a speakerphone mic. Volume is higher than my other mics!
This quality of the sound coming from this microphone is lower quality. I can be heard loud from more and a foot away but it clearly sounds like I'm using a speakerphone. I sounded far and not clear no matter how far I was from this microphone.A Note: this is NOT a speakerphone because it doesn't have a built in speaker. They make it look like speaker but it is just a microphone. Also, this isn't a typical USB interface at the microphone, it uses a USB to 5 pin cable. My review:I really needed a microphone that was louder than my current USB microphones. One's a high quality mic (the type for music) and the other's a microphone on a stick (the type for PC gaming) but neither was loud enough when I was sitting more than a foot away from them. So, I chose this. I knew this didn't have a speaker because it doesn't say it has a speaker anywhere in the listing. However, they needlessly made it look like a speakerphone which we naturally think is speaker and mic in one.My primary complaint is that this microphone made me sound far away and low quality, like a very basic speakerphone. No matter how far I was, my voice did not sound clear. However, the volume on this thing was impressive. My other microphones could not reach the volumes that this conference mic can do. This alone keeps this device on my "go-to" list of mics but it won't be on the top of my list.My other complaint is that the USB cable interface is some strange 5 pin connector on the microphone side. What concerns me is that, if the cable fails for any reason, this microphone will become useless. I'm not docking stars for this because they show the pictures of this in their listing. This is more of an FYI / beware! The included cable is nice and long, it's wrapped in a softish braid so it feels and looks like quality. It's not very thick or soft/flexible so it only "looks" like quality. The end on the microphone has a little locking button so it won't get unplugged on the microphone side if you move it around. It's very easy to remove with a push of a button. One thing that I thought was odd was the button on top. It's a large circle with a small circle in the center. I naturally kept touching the larger circle thinking that it would turn the mic on and off (mute, not power off) but the actual button is ONLY the small circle. this felt weird because the whole area looks like a big button to me, especially since I know it only does one thing, mute. This does do noise cancellation fine. I was concerned that it would pick up the sounds from the computer's speakers but it did filter them out fine. This was easy to set up and since I'd been playing with 2-5 different microphones, I was very familiar with the sound settings. I say this because their instructions look wrong. The instructions tell you to turn on the "Listen to" function but that will probably create a feedback loop or echo from your speaker to your mic. If you're reading this and you already have the microphone: skip step 4. You only have to set it as default and your conference software will have options to use the default microphone or any other connected microphones.Overall, this might be a good choice if you find your current mics aren't loud enough but the two complaints make this hard to recommend. 1) Sounds far and low quality. 2) Strange USB interface.

Super easy set up and works great
My son is doing online school this year due to COVID. I got him an Acer all in one computer for a stationary work place and a laptop for when he’s not there. He had a meet the teacher thing the other day and it was the first time we used the all in one to zoom...silly me... I hadn’t even thought about the fact that there’s no microphone built into the all in one. I just assumed that since it has a built in webcam it would have a built in microphone. On my search for a microphone for him I knew I wanted something that he didn’t have to talk directly into, that he didn’t have to physically wear, and that could pick up his voice throughout the room since he will be doing a lot of out of his seat learning and walking around the room. So I settled on this conference microphone. Yes I know that’s not what it was intended for but it works great for us!It took me about 20 seconds to open the package, and another 30 seconds to set it up. Legit that was all. You just use the included cord to plug into the back of your computer, plug in the other side to the microphone and that’s it. There is only one button on the whole thing and it is a touch sensor style button to turn on and off. No settings, no hassle, just plug it in. The computer recognized it immediately and automatically used it for microphone.I’m quite impressed with this thing to be honest. It picks my sons voice up easily and clearly if he’s right next to it or 15 feet away.

Froze system
This is a tabletop condenser microphone for conference calls. The microphone is approximately 5.5” in diameter and 0.75” tall. It has a metal case with a single touch power button on top. It comes with a 6’ cable with a braided nylon sheath, USB A on one end and a proprietary round 5 pin plug on the other end. Also included in the box is a faux leather zippered storage case and an instruction sheet in Chinese with some English.I like the long braided nylon sheathed cord that comes with this microphone. It’s long enough to reach a good distance and it doesn’t tangle easily. When I first plugged this microphone into my computer, it froze the system solid. Ctrl+Alt+Del wouldn’t unfreeze it, so I had to reboot. When the computer came back up, it seemed OK, no permanent harm done. I tested the microphone from about 6’ away, with a monitor screen between me and the microphone. It didn’t pick up my voice. Then I moved a little closer, out from behind the screen, about 4’ away. The microphone worked then, but sounded distance. Finally, I moved the microphone to about 2.5” away and it worked fine, not exactly clear, but OK for conference calls. This microphone is about 8x bigger than a different conference microphone that seemed more sensitive and didn’t freeze my system, so the other one would be my first choice. Overall, this microphone has an impressive size and nice looking cord.

Ottimo microfono
