Overall very solid and good looking piece of Journal.

I love it. Just perfect. It's beautiful, and well-designed. Great that it has the charts in it of chord progressions and keys. It's a small detail but I love that it has elastic to hold a pen on the outside.This was a new years purchase to inspire me to write this year. Also my music reading is not great, so it was a strategic purchase to force myself to notate ideas on paper.Some suggestions:It would be nice to see a version of this with tablature (although maybe they have one, don't know). Either way, this could be easily adapted to that by adding a line. So I'll have to decide which method of notating feels most right.Also a spiral binding might work better for this because it would be easier to leave it open on the table when playing.Looking forward to using it!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for our friend who is the singer/songwriter of the band my husband plays in. He absolutely loved it! It's a unique gift and one worth giving!

A gift for my son

I'm a singer/songwriter myself and I found that my old notebook had started to get full so I did a quick google search to find this. I figured a notebook is a notebook but was presently suprise to find scale charts, a pocket for holding papers and things in the back, and several bookmarks! The binding is nice too!

Made my niece very happy

I like the elastic pen holder and strap but the binding could be stronger, its already giving out on me after writing for a few pages and if I am writing songs I open and close it a lot and leave it open often so i am concerned for the sturdiness after I get to the end of it

I love that this songwriting journal includes wide-ruled paper on one side for lyrics and sheet music-lined paper on the other side for music notes. I bought this for a friend who write music and really want to buy it for all my songwriting friends now. Especially because it has a classic vintage leather-bound look, very good quality.

Misleading saying the cover is leather when it is actually just a colour description. Very disappointed.
