Pets Can Play Feather Replacement Refills, Guinea Fowl, Pack of 3

Our cat seems crazy about this particular brand (on her "fishing pole" accessory), and she's not a baby anymore. These, however, bring out the playful side of her every time. We keep them stored in a storage trunk/seating and she will go up to it and paw at it for us to get these out for play. We have to keep these stored away, or she will tear them up in a short time, (which isn't safe for her to be chewing at them unattended). We purchased these replacements specifically because these play feathers were the ones she seemed to be most "triggered" by. We love seeing her so playful, and the exercise is essential. Worth the money paid.

My cat loves these toys to peices...literally! However, this product is NOT the same product pictured, and since the manufacturer feels the need to falsely advertise the supposed advantages of this product compared to other similar toys, I feel that alone warrants a low rating. This toy is EXACTLY the same as other brands I have purchased, do not be fooled!

My cat is picky when it comes to her toys, but she loves these feathers. Correction, she loves the guinea feathers. I had to cut the peacock feather off of the toy because for some unknown reason, she didn't like it. We play with these every day and she goes absolutely crazy for them. She does the most amazing acrobatics trying to get the feathers. Of course, I let her get them regularly so that she doesn't get frustrated.

The photos of the product were misleading, because the toy in real life is actually smaller than the "da bird" brand feather toy. I ordered these ultra feather refills because I was under the impression that they would be fuller/bigger than the "da bird" refills, or at the minimum that they would be equivalent. However, these refills were definitely lower quality. The refills I received were small, had already damaged feathers, and were pressed completely flat (unlike the product photos, which made the feathers seem spread out, as opposed to flat). The "da bird" refills are without a doubt a better product, and cost the same. I would only consider buying the ultra feather refills if they were less expensive than the alternative.

My cat was hesitant at first, so I wasn't sure these were going to work as well as "Da Bird" replacement refills. However, she has since come around and plays just as enthusiastically with these as the originals. As a bonus, these seem to be more robust - she's destroying the feathers at a drastically reduced pace, despite being a chewer!

Great add on for my existing high end wand. I thought my cats would be more crazy for them, but its not the feathers, they are great. My cats are just weird or lazy :D

Product looks nothing like the picture, it arrives flattened in a plastic bag and the feathers do not stand away from the central hub like in the pictures. The original product twirls and makes a fluttering noise like bird wings, which drove the cats wild, this product does not. I have given a 5-star rating, however, because both cats are completely obsessed with this version of the toy. the feathers are fatter and shorter but mimics the size of a sparrow, which they find fascinating. It is also easy to attach to the original Da Bird Go Cat rod, so that's a good thing.In short - product is not as advertised, but the cats still really go crazy for it, so it's good.

My cat loved these so much when she was a kitten, She got some SERIOUS exercise while I flew these around. With time, she became disinterested in them, but I'm going to say that is more to do with the cat than the product.

Inferior to the original product in every way. It's too bulky and doesn't fly as well. The bells are annoying and just weigh it down more. Despite the extra cost and low durability, I will most likely purchase the original Da Bird replacements in the future.

Though these look great and my cats were happy with it, it doesn't actually make the same sound as the original De Bird one did.

My cats love these. It was great to be able to purchase replacements as my cats wear them out after awhile. They do hold together very well and are well made, but what can withstand the teeth and claws of kittens long term?? These are great to have on hand when your cat manages to grab the toy mid-flight and takes it down with fury.
