Secret- Hold power button down for full ten seconds on first start
I have read the many reviews which claim the product is defective. They are WRONG. The front light power button must be depressed for a full ten seconds to take the light out of the safe mode, designed to prevent accidentally turning the light on. After you figure that out, it is a great light, with the best tail light ever.I bought this because of the tail light. I have an exact one I have used for three years and it still holds a charge. The price for both lights cannot be beat. I was in the process of seeking tech support on the front light when I discovered the trick- hold the button down for ten full seconds to take out of safe mode.

Great mounts
Easy to mount. Tail light is great. Headlight is good but I will buy a brighter for dusk rides.

Highly recommend for daytime rides
I usually never leave reviews but these lights are a lifesaver. I ride streets during the daytime with no bike lanes. After a few near misses with spaced out drivers I invested in some lights. I leave them on the flash setting and now drivers loop way out around me. Battery life is great. No issues with headlight after unlocking it from shipping mode. Don't buy the cheap recommend Amazon ones. They are crap. This set is excellent for the price range.

DONT BUY! only taillight works
Tried 3 different sets, headlight does not work on ANY of the sets. Tail lights are good though, I like em. Just buy the taillight separately with (I recommend) a CYGOLITE headlight.

Good light, bad strap
The light itself is amazing, I absolutely love it. I ride my bike a few miles to school and back each day during the week and I use the light all the time for the ride. Unfortunately the strap doesn’t handle stress very well and it broke in 2 months. Having to take the light off and on every day wears the strap down really fast so be aware of that. If the company can do something about that it would be appreciated.
