You get what you pay for. Good value.
The grommets are ripping out at the anchor points after only a few weeks of use. I suppose if you have a place were you can weave a rope through it and suspend it entirely, it may fair better, but otherwise its very fragile. The cloth material feels cheap and it rips easily. I noticed one grommet was missing entirely, manufacture defect.Overall, its a cheap product. Its close enough to the size I wanted, though I suspect a custom cut piece of cloth from a respected vendor would be of higher quality, though several hundred dollars more expensive. This is cheap enough to be disposable after a few years. It isn't perfect, but it makes shade and keeps my plants from scorching. I have since added some additional support ropes and anchored it at more points. It may actually be cooler inside my greenhouse than outside because I have double shade cloth on it.It was a 3/5 star but I'm bumping it to 4/5 stars. I MAY buy again, its not very high quality or durable but if you put it over a hoop house, rather than suspended like I have it, it will probably last a while.Reinforce the corners and put three grommets on each corner! That will solve the ripping.Update: 2020/08/17I bought it again, although a smaller piece. Since the reviews are all combined together, I suppose I have to amend this one.Changing from 4/5 to 5/5 stars. I put some holes in my 48' piece and have since transferred it to a high tunnel where it should provide several years of shade. I have shopped around other value brands and I may have been too harsh on this brand. This cloth (E.share) is a good value for the price and I actually recommend just buying the largest piece available and cutting it to the size you need if you plan to cover a high tunnel with it. Secure it by weaving a rope over the entire high-tunnel with the shade cloth under the rope and fraying probably won't be much of a concern if you decide to cut it. I haven't cut my 48' piece, but its secured in the manner stated. This shade cloth has many threads to support the cloth weave; while other brands don't. The outer border is stronger than other brands. So far, my generic "netted tarp" from TSC has lasted for years and still has every piece of shade cloth beat in terms of construction.I would absolutely avoid Winemana shade cloth, that brand is flimsy as flimsy gets; it was one of the alternatives I checked out and I would take the E.share every time over it.I'll probably buy this brand again in the future since I'm putting up more high tunnels.Updated again on 2021/04/08Since I can't leave multiple reviews, I'll amend this one yet again. I suppose just consider it to be two five star reviews. The north's weather wandered down here to the southern coast and started misbehaving; it left a bunch of snow and ice which caused several rips in the larger 48' long shade cloth while trying to collapse my shallow roofed greenhouses. I transferred the old piece (1-2 years old now) to my new greenhouse which is made from salvage and threw the two new pieces on my high tunnel. Shade cloth is shade cloth and I intend to use it until it disintegrates into dust or becomes entirely unusable. The high tunnel is ~30' wide, 36' long and I was surprised to find I didn't have to fight the new shade cloth to stretch it to the needed size like other brands. You actually get the full size shade cloth, maybe a little extra and it blocks the light very well. I overlapped it in the center for full coverage and it fit beautifully. This is my go-to brand now.

Amazing Pool Cover
Okay, they didn't intend it as a pool cover. That's okay, I used it for that anyway. Since I have an above ground pool and cannot pry the money out of my wallet for one of those spring loaded, you-can-walk-on-it, covers that cost several thousand dollars, I figured I'd give this a shot. Same theory, let the water through, keep the leaves and stuff out...although you CAN NOT WALK ON IT (you know someone will try, that's why they have stupid labels on lawn mowers not to work on the blades while it is running...someone moron did and blamed the manufacturer).Anyway, it kept all the leaves out, kept the branches out and even kept the seeds out. Heck, it even kept the squirrels out! Going on was easy, coming off was easy. Way, way, way easier than a friggin' tarp!. I used our solar cover reel to keep the middle out of the water and it stayed out of the water for most of the time, until the snow stretched it in one corner and one quadrant was in the water when we opened the pool. I'm still trying to figure out how much I can stretch it (it is stretchy). You might need to reclamp it a few times over the winter.I'll see this fall, but it looked to me like it was in good enough shape to do another season at least, if not two or three more. Really, I didn't see any issues with it. When I need to, I'll buy another. This works great as a pool winter cover to keep leaves and branches out. What is cool, is that the leaves do not congregate, since they stay dry, the wind blows them off...what's not to like.

Didn’t last a year.
It is what it is. It cost 1/2 the price of others but it didn’t survive an entire summer. Probably will buy again because of the price and size.

Definitely not 90% like others post
I have a smaller 90% privacy fence cover made alike this one except this one is huge and let’s much more light through. I originally bought this because someone posted it was 90% filter vs 40% as listed but they are wrong. I am using this for shading my rv home so I won’t have to run the ac as often. There is a 16 degree F difference of the outer shell of the rv where it’s shaded vs open to direct sunlight (5/28/2022 current temp is 75F sunny with a light breeze, laser gauge read 89f in the shaded portion and 109 in the open to sun area and its 76 inside the rv) So far I have been able to maintain 1-2 degree difference inside the rv from ambient temp. (If it’s 70 out it’s 71 in the rv) this week will be in the 80s so it’ll really show its value. Before the shade I was pushing 90 inside with ac off. Way to damn hot. Would buy again.

Perfect for leaf net pool cover
So far after a couple months of being used as a pool cover it works better then most actual pool covers . All the pool covers I have bought so far have torn apart within the first month or two especially the ones used as leaf nets . using this has kept all the big debris out of my pool and actually I’ve noticed it warms my pool like a solar pool cover as well it also appears that using this as a pool cover is going to last more than one season as the metal grommets are actually strong and so far even some 70mph wind storms I don’t have a single tear . I might buy another to use for its actual purpose as a shade ..

sturdy screen cuts the Texas UV sunshine and gives my garden a fighting chance
We're having a heat wave in Texas (more than usual). I purchased these screens to use with my garden to provide some shade and block some UV. The screen I bought was large - 20x38 feet. I used ten-foot-tall poles with anchor buckles at the top. I ran some wire from pole to pole and attached the screens at the corners and side to the pole and wire. So far so good - my veggies have all perked up and continue to produce. We've had some heavy thunderstorms as well and the screens have held up very well. I gave 4 stars to the 'easy to install' category because the eyelets do not line up when laying the screens side by side. Otherwise, I think I would recommend this product (especially since I went back and ordered several more). ;)

Using for Apartment Balcony
Bought this to cover the length of my balcony as a drape. Works beautifully. Soon as we set it up the balcony went down a few degrees. The material is open enough that you can see through, but closed enough that bugs aren't crawling through. The grommets go completely around the product so we used hooks on the ceiling, but also some hooks on the wall to keep it still.Makes the balcony feel like a separate room with privacy.Absolutely love it! Will update if anything changes.

Not 40%
I used a PAR meter to measure full sunlight with and without the shade cloth and determined it was approximately 80% not 40%!! It's likely going to be too much shade for my plants.

Great for the price.
For the price, great product. Bought another brand on here that was literally falling apart just from being unpacked. This is a Cadillac in comparison. Nothing approaching commercial quality, but I expect it will last a few seasons. Delivery was fast.

Excellent product
This product came in the middle of multiple heat waves, it did the job and protected my plants from frying. The size was the biggest I could find on amazon and will probably buy more in the future as my garden expands.
