I have been painting since the early seventies and for lots of famous names so I do know what I am doing . This surface made the acrylic paint react in totally strange ways, colour accuracy ? No ! Application ? No !I have just finished 12 paintings on stretched canvas for a gallery and each went according to plan so when I opened the pack of smaller canvas boards my feeling carried some relief that I was now working on a smaller size . I started and the paint was difficult to apply, the colours were not the colours I had carefully mixed. I painted the canvas with primer to see if this would improve things ( we shall see) I am writing this because it would put a beginner off! If this were their first painting .I would give up and I would not know that it was the surface rather than any lack of ability and that would not be fair !

When drying the canvas shrunk and pulled off the board.

I hosted an online paint night and used these as the canvases. They were perfect! Good size and I love that they are flat so it’s easy to store the unused ones. Easy to paint on and are quite sturdy so you don’t have to support it on a flat surface. Another bonus to it being flat is that they are super easy to hang or you can frame it if you want. Overall I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase again for future paint nights

This canvas board is perfect for my oil painting. I am a complete beginner and find this the best product to use for my paints.I have had no trouble at all with these boards and will definetly be buying more.

Spot on. Just as expected. Used for an acrylic painting wirh system 3 paints. Only slight bowing that was easy to fix.

Be careful when using with Mixed Acrylic and Water....that too much water, will cause the Canvas to pull away from the panel. Ok for testing with Acrylic Pours, but ideal for painting with Acrylic. Pours tend to really sodden the canvas. and of course it will curl at the edges with too much paint. But good for testing ideas.

This product is very good value for money. It's used for my acrylic paintings.
