Nclex-Pn Prep Plus

Very educational

I attribute my passing the NCLEX-PN in 75 questions to this book! I read it cover to cover and did all of the practice questions and tests! If you are thinking about getting this book please do, you will not regret it. The only thing (and this really made me laugh) was the fact that there were a few typos &/or words missing. You can use your brain and figure it out, but I chuckled when I found them. So overall this book is worth it!

this was the first book i reviewed before i used Uworld NCLEX online review. this booked helped me understand the overall NCLEX experience. i reviewed all sections and this book also provides good rationales to each practice question and what to look for during testing. i truly believe this book helped me pass the NCLEX in 75 questions based on the way the book provides a clear understanding on the actual NCLEX exam. I enjoyed this book because it simplified what I needed to know from the NCLEX PN test outline. The way my mind works I wanted a simple and realistic/manageable way to prepare I needed 5 weeks to feel ready. The book guaranteed a passing score if you followed their strategies and advice to PRACTICE several hundreds of questions. (I did not use other popular well known resources because they were prepared above the level of the exams and I was getting most of them wrong.. I did use UWORLD, SAUNDERS during school for class assignments but not as part of my Nclex PN licensure exams, I stuck to three resources: Kaplan, Hesi Pn exam Edition 6 and ATI PN Comprehensive exam practice on Quizlet). I am writing this review to help another terrified soul who needs faith and encouragement. When I found out on TX BON that 80% of NClex pn test takers/educated in the US pass on their first try I stopped the fear. Also, Kaplan has been around longer than other popular testwriters BUT KAPLAN DELIVERED THEIR PROMISE: PASSING SCORE GUARANTEED. I passed at 86 questions (other student friends of mine passed at 75). I love that nurses wrote the Kaplan PN Prep Plus book!!!! Please buy the book if you need help, they give you several strategies with reasons/rationales why you should answer a question a certain way. Love you Kaplan!!

overall it was a good book with great tips for the NCLEX, but the access code didn’t work (and i purchased a brand new book for that reason), i still don’t know why.
