Our kids and their cousins love these. Walkie talkie's are the ultimate kid gift. They could play on these things all day - be careful, you might get dragged in to the fun. The colors are great and the camo is fun. The sounds quality is good and very loud. Our 11 yo also uses it to communicate with us when she goes down the street to the neighbors. I think the distance on these things is stated at around 1 mile, but we haven't experimented with that yet.There are options to change the call tones which the kids love. Sometimes it is tricky to get all the talkies on the same channel, as you seem to have to press the button to "stop" at the right time while it flips through the channels. In other words, you can't just press up and down to get to a channel (unless there is an easier way to do this - please let me know!)Batteries seem to die kind of quickly. Maybe that is because we use rechargeables. Also, the batteries seem a bit crowded...sometimes when you put the last one in, it causes another to pop out. So that can take a bit of maneuvering.

I bought this for my two kids. Product works good for the purpose we needed it for. My kids like playing with them.

it was a bonus to have 3 to a box as each child in this family had his own radio. They are elementary school age and absolutely love them. They seem well made, and had good distance range.

These worked while my son rode his bike around our small block, it was nice being able to check in with him. Clear sound, minimal static. I love that it has a light but the button is very easy to push and gets accidentally bumped, turning the light on and draining the batteries (the "lock" feature doesn't lock the light button). There is lag between pushing the "talk" button and actually transmitting, we have to push the talk button and wait a few seconds before talking. It's cool that we could connect with his friends' walkie talkies, they had different brands and were still able to talk to each other. I haven't taken the time to figure out VOX feature, apparently I'll have to read directions for that. All 3 lanyards broke within the first few hours of use, thankfully the walkie talkies themselves withstood the fall on cement street and didn't break. We've only used them a handful of times and last night I came home to hear this high pitched squealing sound, I followed the sound and discovered one walkie talkie was completely not working, but was squealing. I pulled out the batteries and let it chill for a few hours, as soon as I put the batteries back in the squealing started again. One down, and I don't have high hopes for the other 2.

I love these walkie talkies. I originally bought them for my niece's birthday. She has a sister and a dad that would also love to play with them with her, so I'm glad they come in a 3 pack. They have many features: 22 channels, Chanel lock, Chanel scan, volume up and down, light, music, neck strap, and obviously the talk button . They have a 1 mile city range, and a 2 mile country range. There are probably more features that I'm forgetting. I bought the pack that contained pink, green, and blue camouflage walkie talkies. My present was such a hit at the party that all the kids fought over them. Since they such a hit I bought this item again for my other nieces birthday. These walkie talkies will work with each other so all 6 can play together. I have nothing negative to say about this item.

Definitely not the original walkie talkies that were displayed, so definitely buyer beware. However, the kids are playing with them, they work, and they seem to be of fine quality, hence the 3 star review.First time I’ve had a fake product in hundreds of Amazon purchases…so…not bad odds.
