The part worked, but did not come with any wiring instructions. It has a red-brown wire for positive and blue for negative. Connect the red-brown wire to the usual Red positive wire and blue wire to usual Black negative wire.

As the title says, it works but it is not great. The resolution provided by this item is lower than a KUS model of the same size. A 7.5" model outputs the following resistance values throughout the measurement range:248, 148, 112, 97, 85, 73 and 40 OhmsThe resistance values measured are not 100% stable. It seems as if the reed switches sometimes don't make good contact.An equally sized KUS sensor outputs:242, 193, 145, 135, 126, 109, 89, 72, 53, 34 OhmsOn the other hand the resistance values measured from this sensor are very stable.To conclude: This sensor will get the job done but it will provide less accurate information to your gauge as compared to a, equivalent KUS model. Most likely it will also fail sooner.

Great quality. Simple to install and good firm supporting plate. Used different bolts but no problem.Replacement of a cheap one i bought a few months ago that corroded to rusty mess for "stainless steel" ... This one is obviously better steel and quality.... for just a few bucks more.

im going remove it from my tranfer tank, , ITS JUNK, it doesnt stay in one position , the tank is fuel 25 gals, and when driving it the sender black ring on the shaft goes up and down, . p.s. when i ordered the sender unit, you sent me a USED UNIT, it said nothing in my ordering that it was USED .. maybe that why its used????and when its empty it stays in the middle showing that you have a half a tank when i know its EMPTY.

Buyer beware. The page will say prime but when you select your size the shipping changes. This ships from China and takes over a month to get. Not impressed at all. Would have went a different route with my project knowing this.

At quarter of a tank it's was reading 240 ohms ,it should read 0-190 ohms as in the manual so the gauge reading full tank so I don't know if it's a faulty unit or something else . If anyone got some information please let know.thxx

Fixed a discontinued Harley Wide Glide gas tank with this sender.....Took a little cutting the top a little smaller but works perfectly!! Ebay wants $250+ for a used unit to fit the bike..... This worked great!!

The previous owner of the boat had used the wrong sending unit. I is nice to know I am not out of gas after a half hour of use. This unit gives a more accurate reading.
