Lots of fun
I've been a Tetris fan pretty much all my life and have gotten very good at it, but I have recently decided to switch it up and learn the ways of Puyo Puyo.A game that includes both Puyo Puyo and Tetris seemed exactly like my kind of thing, I played the demo for the first game a while back and loved it but never really got too deep into the Puyo part.Over the last week I had been playing a lot of Puyo Puyo on the SNES app with my friend (if you haven't played the SNES one, definitely do, it's in Japanese but it's not difficult to guess you way through the menus) and have really started to enjoy it, it's a lot more strategic than Tetris and requires a lot more thinking ahead, getting a huge chain is a great deal more satisfying than just getting a "Tetris" in Tetris.People might call me weird for this, but I got this game to play alone, if I want to play Tetris or Puyo Puyo with friends, there's ways to do that on the Switch without having to buy a £25 game (Tetris 99 and the SNES app) and I wasn't too bothered about playing Puyo Puyo and Tetris at the same time, I got this game for playing against the CPU and playing through the story mode, yes, this puzzle game has a story mode.At first I was a bit confused about what the story mode was, it appears to be some kind of visual novel type thing but with a Puyo Puyo or Tetris match every once in a while, I'm a big fan of visual novels but haven't really paid much attention to the story, in fact, I've been skipping through it just to get to the battles.Don't get me wrong, I love the idea of having a story in a game like this, but I always go into this game with a "pick up and play" mindset, I want to listen to the (fully voiced) dialogue but for some reason I just never feel like it.Honestly this game is really great, It's super well done, has some great art and lots of content, but for £25 I don't know if it would be worth it to many people, I can personally see £25 of enjoyment from this game but there's a lot of Switch games that cost £25 and have much more depth, if you're thinking of this just for a party game kind of thing, maybe save a bit of money by getting the first one, as far as I can tell, it's not that different.Thank you for reading!

OK
I like Tetris and have absolutely no interest in Puyo Puyo at all and had no intension of paying PS4 or 5 prices for this so at just short of a tenner I got the Xbox physical version and although it is not the original it scratch's a itch.

Underrated game.
I just wanted a go to game that I could play for 20 minutes and just put down. This is just that type of game. For me it's fun, easy to play and a great gap filler. If you were playing with friends and family I think it would be a fun night in. Obviously this is my opinion and this game doesn't take itself seriously.

Much of the same, but a new story, lots more items and characters, and a few new modes to check out
I loved the first one so decided to support the good work Sega are doing and get this too. It's much of the same and doesn't offer anything wildly different, but there are loads of new characters and collectables to spend time earning, and it's a good price too. Pick it up, especially if you haven't played the first one.
