Can easily connect to several devices without needing a computer.
The media could not be loaded. This camera tester a good thing to have if you are wanting to know which system is working properly without the need to connect your computer or phone to it. I really hate having to connect my laptop and carry it out to test certain cameras and signals. Now I no longer have to do that and I can actually hook up to the device directly in order to test it. This device actually has a screen and applications which is nice to show me what I need to know. The only down side is it can be annoying to turn on. It also arrived with the battery completely drained so it required a few hours charge to power this on. You will know when it turns on with the red light initiating. The green light will light up if it is being charged. From what I can tell, it does not change the light. It took about 30 minutes to allow the device to post when charging from a dead battery. The battery is already preinstalled and from the looks of the design of the case, you can remove it but it does require a screw driver. I could test to see which device is outputting correctly from several different kinds of HDMI device to seeing if my router was sending a signal. It is easy to learn but there are so many ports that require a bit of learning. I think the hardest one of me is the ethernet ports and learning which one does what. There was one that gave a warning not to plug into so be aware of that. I think it has to be a specific device but I did not have a need to use it. I will research it someday. For the most part, the devices I uses it is easy to learn. You just select the application that you want to use and plug in the device. I recommend plugging the device in before opening the application. Another thing when you power on the device, you need to press and hold the device for only two seconds. The red light will turn on and let go of the button. If you hold it for too long, it goes into reset mode and will not post. The battery last for quite sometimes and recharging can take from four to five hours. The device is pretty thick and heavy. Only the sides are really padded. You can remove those pads (they are silicone based). They also have hooks so you can tie your strap to it and carry it on a shoulder strap. The strap is pretty basic. The silicone side covers stay on pretty well but get dirty easily. It does come with a few accessories to test. There is a cover on one of the ports when you receive it. It comes with alligator clips, coaxial cable, dc plug, RJ45 tester, and a brick charger. The brick charger is large so be aware of that. It does take up more than on spot on a surge protector. This tests on this device is quite accurately. It was easier to connect the devices to this and get it to work. If it does not provide any signal it will show an error on the screen. The screen is very prone to scratches unfortunately. It does not feel like gorilla glass but it works in responsiveness. It uses a dumb down android with apple app icon which was a bit confusing to me. The app store looks exactly like the apple app store icon. The device does have sound. It takes a few minutes to boot up initially. It does have internal memory if you want to install your own application. Overall the readings it provides are accurate and gives you a good idea if the device you are testing is defective or not. I actually like having this to diagnose what is wrong with my camera, router, or even hdmi device. I can connect to it without needing a laptop, portable monitor, or wireless connection. I think if you do a lot of trouble shooting this will work great. It really is the jack of all trade kind of device. It definitely isn't perfect. There are sometime connection flaws and the power on function is a bit confusing but it works great. It gives good readings and has several different pre-installed applications. If you want to install your own, you can do that as well. The device is HEAVY. It has to be considering the amount of devices it can test. The touch screen is responsive and the battery last for quite sometimes. The carrying case is a simple bag with pockets to allow you to store all the needed cables. The straps are located INSIDE the bag when you first receive it. Other than that, I really enjoy the device.

Amazing unit; some accessories could be better.
I don't often have time to write reviews, but this unit deserves one. This is perhaps the best CCTV camera configurator & image viewer in terms of functionality. Battery life is outstanding. Ergonomics are great. I was able to configure Dahua IP cameras, as well as any analog CVBC and HDCVI cameras, very easily. The unit could not interface with Revotech IP cameras (such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W7PXN4W ) including using its web browser, and I did not see any easy way to install a more up-to-date web browser or update the built-in one.The BNC cable included with the unit is garbage - or at least mine was, unfortunately, defective. One of the BNC connectors was poorly made and gets stuck when connected - so much so that you risk ruining the cable (or this device) trying to get it to unlatch and disconnect. Honestly I wanted to take 2 stars off: -0.5 stars for incompatibility with Revotech (a very flexible IP cam option), -0.5 stars for no clear way to install an up-to-date Firefox browser, and -1 star for the durn BNC cable nearly ruining this device. But I couldn't bring myself to give this unit as little as 3 stars. It really is a 5 star unit, with a couple of rough edges.

Great deal on IP CCTV test monitor.
I am very impressed, last time I bought one was over 7 years ago and not it is half the price, faster, and more apps. Some IP cameras take less than 1 minute, some take 2 to 3 depending on the brand ortype, especially the panoramic cameras, just have to be patient when using rapid IP if rapid ONVIF doesnot work. Worst case was hitting the refresh 4 to 5 times and the 360 camera finally showed video. Willdefinitely buy another for back up. Also to add, some 360 camera will require re-seating the cable, and closing and reopening IP discovery. Just don't give up on IP discovery when trying to get image, eachtype of camera respond differently. For this price, best to have 2 or get spare batteries which normally isthe problem with these test monitors. The spare battery might take a month to arrive but is less than $20.

faulty hardware
The media could not be loaded. 12v output is not consistent and can potentially damage your equipment. I advise not using it.
