Perfect upgrade for AKG K553 PRO
My headphones, model: AKG K553 PRO.The original earpads caused handling noise whenever they moved even the tiniest little bit. That is an annoyance and interferes with monitoring for recording. I did NOT like the noisy polyurathane shell. The original earpads were also very shallow and my ears were right up against the hard plastic grill inside the headphones. Not comfortable at all... However, the audio quality is far superior to my other heaphones. So, I did not want to return or thrash them. I looked on amazon for a possible solution...These new earpads solved both problems! They have enough depth to prevent my ears from touching the hard plastic grill inside. They do not have any noisy polyurathane material pressing against my skin. The soft velour is very quiet and comfortable! These headphones have now become my ALL TIME FAVORITE!1000% better than Sony MDR-7506

Great for ATH-R70x
I had purchased another pair of replacement pads for my ATH-R70x headphones which simply weren't thick enough. My ears kept pressing up against the drivers - needless to say, uncomfortable. These pads fit well, are super comfy, thick enough, and the sound quality is fine, not really changed much, that I can tell. Installation is the same as with any replacement pads of this type. It takes a few minutes to carefully fit the pad sleeve all around and into the grooves.

Comfy but hard to install
Installed on a pair of ATH-AD500x headphones, install was not easy. These help the headphones stay in place better than the pads that came with them. Slightly more noticeable on my ears but still all day comfortable. They don't seem to change the sound quality that I would notice, which is good. I would rate them as an upgrade over the original pads.

Amazing Upgrade (SR850)
Made a huge difference for the Samson SR850. They headphones on their own are an insane value for the price but the included ear cups are laughably bad. These replacement ear cups are a game changer, the stock ones barely fit around my ears but these fit perfectly. They are a decent amount wider so it's amplifies the bass frequencies because the drivers are physically farther away but it does muffle the mids and highs a little bit. I personally think it's a fair trade off because I'm not using it these headphones for anything serious like editing but if you are getting these for reference headphones be warned they could affect the frequency response. They fit the SR850s very well and were relatively easy to get on. The foam is very plush and the thickeness helps it mold perfectly to you head.

Good pads
I really liked these pads. The original pads for my Phillips Fidelio X2HR were very worn, so I decided to replace them with these ones. The installation process was a little annoying because the original pads were glued to the base that connects to the headphones. I had to forcefully remove them and clean off all the residue. However, after that, installing the new pads was easy.In my opinion, these pads are more comfortable, and the velour material feels nice against the skin. Additionally, I'm not sure if it's just a placebo effect, but I feel like the headphones sound slightly better with these new pads.Overall, I'm quite happy with this purchase.

Perfect for Superlux HD-672
I bought these for my Superlux HD672 to improve its comfort and its sound quality.I tried a number of ways to get the best improvement in sound quality. Putting the pads on the plastic rings made the sound warmer, but didn't get rid of the 7-10KHz treble peak. Cutting a piece of two-ply toilet paper into a circle and putting one ply over each driver fixed that issue. Sound signature was warm, with boosted bass but some bleed into the lower midrange. Mids and treble were otherwise neutral, but with a slight loss of detail, which I had expected. If you like a warm sound, this is the way to go.To fix the lower midrange bleed, I removed the pads from the plastic rings. Then I used masking tape to tape all the holes before attaching pads over the headphones without putting them back onto the plastic rings (which use the holes that were sealed with tape). The bass was brought down a bit, but no longer interferes with the midrange. Add that to the toilet paper mod I used earlier, sound quality is much improved. If you prefer a more neutral, detailed sound, this is the way to go.After the mods, the sound signature is close to neutral but with a slight boost in the subbass and midbass. I personally prefer the bass to be just above neutral, so that's perfect for me. Bass extension is also improved. The 7-10KHz treble peak is gone, but treble sparkle and airiness is by and large preserved. Also gone is the ringing that the silicone pads caused. Midrange is just as good if not better than with the factory silicone pads.No matter how the pads are placed on the headphones, comfort is vastly improved, and allows the HD672 to be worn for hours at a time with no issues whatsoever.Update June 2022: I realized that putting a piece of two-ply toilet paper inside the pad so that it'll sandwich in between the cloth protector and the plastic rings eliminates the bass issues, and simultaneously solves the 7-10KHz treble peak the HD672's are known for. Plus, this solves the problem of having to reapply the toilet paper mod every time I want to remove the pads. Bass is now punchy and doesn't start to roll off until below 50Hz, with bass easily audible down to as low as 30Hz. Midrange bleed is completely gone. I'd say the bass is slightly boosted, but very well balanced with the mids and highs. There is absolutely no loss in detail with the 7-10 KHz peak completely eliminated. In fact, I paid just $20 for the Superlux HD672, and I bought these for around $19. I'm willing to go as far as to say that the HD672 is now the best sounding pair of headphones I own, and certainly the one I enjoy listening to music on the most. If I could double the rating to ten stars, I would. Because these pads along with some toilet paper transformed them from a boring, analytical sounding headphone into one with a very fun, yet neutral sound signature. A perfect sound signature for acoustic music, jazz, rock music, movies, TV, even EDM and pop music. I'd wholeheartedly buy these if you have the Superlux HD 672.

Easy to install
Quickly replaced my existing ear pad but I think this one feels more comfortable and better than it's originally one that came with my headphone. It's very easy to install. It's soft and doesn't hurt my ear after a few hours usage

Do NOT fit HE400i
These do not fit the HE400i despite what the advertising says. The HE400i use a clip that is attached to the back of the ear pads to attach to the headphone, however, the product is typical slip over ear pads.

Fits my ATH-A900X but the sound is warm with slight loss of detail in mids and highs
As other reviewers stated - if you like warm sound, these are for you. For my Audio Technica ATH-A900X they increase the base (but not the boom - the resolution is still good) at the cost of some loss of detail for mids and primarily for highs. Guitars and cymbals are not that vivid anymore - nothing major and still much better than, e.g. Sennheiser PCX-550-II over AAC BT link. It's not good or bad - just a matter of preference; but they definitely change otherwise neutral sound of ATH-A900x to be more opinionated.Comfort level is very good though!P.S. My DAC/amp is iFi iDSD Nano.

Value for $$$
Thick enough for mine ATH-R70X. Comfortable wearing long hours (>3 hours).Cheap as well compare to other branded earpads.
