Amazon Brand – Pinzon 6 Piece set Blended Egyptian Cotton Bath Towel, Wedgewood

My husband and I have been searching for the perfect towel and we have finally found it. These towels are fantastic and best of all, affordable! They are soft, extremely absorbent and come in a variety of colors. I know some of the other reviewers talk about lint being a problem but I have not had the same experience. I did wash and dry them twice before using and do not have any issues with lint when using them after a shower. Keep in mind, it is perfectly normal for new towels to shed but in time that will decrease. Some people also mentioned that the towels were not absorbent, to that I have to say that you should not use a fabric softener on towels as it will leave a coating that will affect the absorbency. I also have to say that I have had no issues with fraying or threads coming loose.After suffering with "spa towels" made of turkish cotton for a month and having lint all over my house after ten washings, plus having to stand in front of a fan to dry off because the towels only spread the water around, these towels are a blessing and I am thankful that I found them and would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for an affordable set of quality towels.

We just repainted our bathroom and wanted towels this shade of blue. I read the reviews, which were extremely positive, and decided to give this brand a chance. The price was extremely low for a set like this. We were thrilled to find that these are beautiful, thick towels. I saw some comments about lint. So far the only real heavy lint I've seen was in the recommended prewash where I emptied the lint trap twice during drying. There was some lint in the bottom of the washing machine after first wash also. However, the towels washed beautifully, no fading, and dried normally. They are very soft and the bath towel is bigger than the bath towels that came with our other sets. I went back and purchased a second set and will probably buy some more. My only disappointment is I found no bath mats to match this shade of blue. Still, the towels are definitely worth looking around a bit for a mat.

These towels are the THICKEST, SOFT, ABSORBENT towels I have ever owned. Unfortunately, they - along with many other products I have loved - have apparently been discontinued, and only one other brand even has been acceptable so far.

So, I happen to be exceedingly picky when it comes to my linens. So understand that my expectations are probably not realistic in this price range. I wanted to give a fair review so I put some towels together to actually show the strengths and weaknesses of these towels.The towel on the far right is the Pinzon towel in wedgwood. Next to it is another brand I brought from Amazon. The towel on the far left is my from my favorite company and the white one is a 6 or 7 year old towel by the same company as the far left.Obviously you can probably see why I love the towel on the left and it's probably not fair to the Pinzon towel at all that I put it in the picture. However, the Pinzon towel had some great qualities. it's 100% cotton. It is very absorbent. The size is very generous. The quality seems good, but I haven't had them for years like my favorite towels. The weren't overly lindy either.The softness leaves a lot to be desired, and I have a hard time judging this but they were much harsher on my skin. They don't feel like sandpaper or anything, but the feel of them is just rougher than I'm used to. They just don't have the fluffines that I want in my towels.Now the value is where these really shine, for a set of new towels it's just a fraction of what I would spend on the towels on the left. So, if you're looking to restock towels on a budget, these towels are a solid choice. But if you're looking for fluffy and soft, keep looking and be prepared to shell out some cash.

Got these towels after I purchased a much more expensive set, and was thoroughly disappointed.These towels were actually softer than the 900gm cotton towel set I recently returned to Amazon.I purchased the towels in a Wedgewood color, and they arrived looking just like they were advertised (sometimes the colors tend to be off). I immediately washed them, and when I pulled them from my washer, the inside of the washer was FILLED with wet lint (had to run a cycle to clean it). Then into the dryer they went. So much lint came off the towels that it was more than my dryer filter could handle. I pulled the lint off and had larger than a facecloth size of towel remnants in my hand. The lint was thicker than a roll of Scotch Tape, and longer than a soda bottle (see pictures).The good news is that, even after shedding more than a Siberian Husky in the Mojave Desert at Noontime in June, the towels look great. They feel quite soft, and, after having been used the for the first time, are quite absorbent.I'd recommend these towels to anyone looking for a soft, absorbent set of true-to-color, bath set. My advice, wash them by themselves, and when drying them, either use a clothes line, or clean the dryer lint-trap halfway through the cycle.

My boyfriend's parents just gave him their old towels for many years, so nothing in his bathroom ever matched. These towels were the first step in getting him to have some nice things of his own that all go together. They are wonderfully soft towels that look great in his bathroom...and fell great when used.So far, we've washed them about 5 times and the color has held up nicely. They also still feel soft and fluffy after the washings.I like these so much I think I'm going to order him some more of them in a month or so...that way we'll end up with four big towels. To be honest, we really don't use the little ones or the wash cloth very much (use loofas in the shower)...so the smaller towels that came with this set actually ended up being used in the kitchen, where they are great.I know families probably get a use out of the smaller towels and wash cloths and stuff...but I think this set was a nice price for just our using the two big blue towels.
