I bought this frame specifically because it said it had a 8x12 mat. It is not a mat but, rather, a piece of paper with a white area that shows what the 8x12 area would look like. I enter photo contests that I need the picture matted for. This will not meet my needs. The frame itself is nice but I can get better pricing just on the frame at a local Michaels. It was the mat that, I thought, justified the extra cost.

My frame arrived in excellent condition and it had everything I expected...except the kind of hanging hardware it needed. Mind you, it had everything the description says it would, but the frame has no hardware designed to lock the backing to the frame. All the metal fittings are mounted to the cardboard backing, so there's nothing preventing the frame from simply falling off the backing over time. I plan on getting a few narrow wood nails and driving them into the frame to pin the backing down, but as is, I can't give this frame full marks. It does look nice, though.EDIT: I've fixed the issue with four small wood screws and four washers, which serve to hold the backing in place. The frame is on my wall and looks quite nice, now.

This frame arrived today with a badly creased mat. I had planned to use the mat to frame an 8x12 print as one of my wife's birthday gifts, but the mat is unacceptable so it will have to go back. To make it worse, the frame is now unavailable so I will need to find another frame that matches this one and hopefully have it in time for her birthday. A shame since the frame otherwise seems very nice.

Nicely packaged so that the large glass didn't arrive damaged. No scuffs or chips on the frame. The clips are very secure and not the kind that fall off because you have to bend them every time you want to change the photo.Hangers seem secure - very well made product.

Just what I needed for a diamond dot painting. Same price as I could have got at Michaels, but this was delivered to the house for free so I just ordered here. Just a standard black frame with no thrills, perfect.

I got it for a limited print that I have had a few years. Ooops NOT non-glare - so the lighting has to be just right, or I have to stand in the right space. Great for documents....

Real glass, exactly what we wanted for some prints my daughter purchased in Italy as a souvenir. All was packaged nicely. Mats looked decent but we didn't use them as the prints were matted already.Someone asked about the depth of the frame, so I included a pic here. It's almost 3/4 of an inch.Happy with our purchase.

The materials are good quality with a good weight to the frame, it's not a lightweight, cheap product. It's well made and looks like a quality frame when displayed. Nice square corners and the mitered edges line up nicely. The finish has a smooth satin sheen. It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. I would definitely order this frame again!
