It's seriously a game-changer when it comes to extending the range of my USB devices. And the best part is, it's so easy to use - just plug and play, no drivers needed. I was a little worried about the durability of the product, because let's face it, some extenders can be a bit flimsy. But this one seems to be holding up pretty well so far. It's not the most exciting piece of tech out there, but it does what it needs to do, plain and simple. And that's really all I can ask for. If you're in need of a USB extender that's reliable and hassle-free, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a try. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone looking to extend the range of their USB devices without any fuss.

I needed access to a printer and separate scanner that were across a room from the computer. They both had a USB interface and I had already had a network cable in place. I simply added the Receiver at one end, connected the network cable to it, dropped the transmitter at the other end with connections to the network line and the computer and just that fast I had access to both devices. Very easy, very quick. Both Transmitter and Receiver are in metal cases, small in size (smaller than a credit card in desk space) and of robust construction. The manual that came with it was very small and really not necessary. A pictogram was all that we needed to show how to make the connections. This was a steal at the price for the aggravation it is saving me to gain access to these devices across the room. And I have two more open ports that I can use!!!

Unit works great with CAT6. For me it did not work @ 75 feet using CAT5e. Over all great product does what I expected.

I hooked this device up to my computer, plugged in the cat5 cable in the transmit (TX) device, and the other end of the cat5 cable into my wall cat6 connector outlet that goes to my router. On the printer size the receiver (RX) module was connected to the printer, and the cat5 cable also going to the router.It didn't work. I did notice that the TX device had no power or TX/RX light showing transmission. So I thought maybe it needed to be plugged into my POE port---but then instructions should have said POE was required. Then it dawned on me---this is built to use a cat5 or ca6 cable directly point-to-point and not through the router.I ran a cat5 cable across my floors from the computer to the printer to test it out and it works. I will just need to run cat5 or cat6 cable through my walls and attic this weekend as the point of this was the printer is far from my computer.This also works with my work computer that, since it is VPN'd through the network, I can never print things on my home network printer. But since I work exclusively from home, this will solve the problem. Work computer can print USB and the rest of my house can print via the home network.

Worked great for about a day, then no longer would work. I switch back to my passive extender and hub and I'm back in business.

I will admit I was skeptical this would work at the price point of $50We needed to extend a USB line over 30 feet for a Poly Studio sound bar and camera.This extender works right out of the box. nothing special required. Our ethernet cable was already in place. I connected to both ends of the ethernet cable and then plugged in the included AC to DC power supply. With in seconds, the camera and sound bar were detected in Teams. The audio and video quality were not reduced in anyway during our calls.After a few thorough test meetings, I bought a second one.

I've got this wired to go through my walls to a 3D printer and USB-Webcam.The other side is plugged into a server with a virtual machine (linux guest).This little tool has stripped the need to have a dedicated machine near the printer (Raspi 3B) and works flawlessly!Notes:No USB device will be detected till the "TX" side is powered and has a USB slave connected.Make sure you do that part first _and then_ connect the "RX" side to the computer/host/master.

The product arrived very quickly and as mentioned above. Follow the instructions to plug and play. Excellent value for money and provided the features I needed. The product is small in size and does not take up too much space. It looks very solid and transfers data quickly. The product is very recommended for purchase.

Although it can transfer power (usb fan works). It does however, no transfer data.I have tried numerous different types of keyboard and mice, all of which do not work using this product.I have tried multiple lengths of ethernet cable (and different types). Ranging from cat 6 to cat 7, and 2m to 15m.Product did not work on arrival, therefore the product is not worth the money.I do not recommend buying this.

Cercavo un extender che potesse essere utilizzabile anche a distanze elevate senza perdita di latenza e devo dire che dopo una settimana di utilizzo, fa esattamente il suo dovere.Il traffico dati è ottimo e fino ad ora non ho trovato alcun tipo di problema. La configurazione è abbastanza semplice, bisogna solo leggere le indicazioni per bene e non con fretta ma del resto non ho trovato alcuna difficoltà nel configurarlo.Consigliato per chi cerca un extender e cerca la massima precisione in ordine di traffico dati.
