Matchbox SKY BUSTER 4-Pack, GPF72

Fantastic quality item,it’s just a pity(not Amazon’s fault I might add)that collectors have just about brought all the stock,inflated the price,and selling items at stupid prices!

As described and arrived on time.However, the product was not sent in a box but a jiffy bag so the blister arrived. So this is NOT collect friendly. Would be great if you guys can consider posting in a box :)

Originally I held off on buying this pack as for some reason I always saw that there was a jet with red colors inside which was never used in the movies.However, when I saw the other reviews recently I noticed that it contained the correct training jet used in Top Gun by Maverick when he was called back to train his team.It's also one of the very few ways to get the Darkstar as I'm still desperately waiting on a 1:72 scale version of it for my Top Gun model kits. So to see at least a Darkstar in this Matchbox set made me decide to get it. The others are very nice as well.Just note that only the Darkstar has a base to make it appear flying. The other 3 are in landing mode. Overall a very nice set with pretty decent detail.EDIT: One thing I noticed after opening the package was that Iceman's F14 had his tail logo yet Maverick's F14 has no logo at all. That's a real shame as now I have to go hunting for waterslide decals of the correct size now. As such I'm also forced to take 1 star off as Matchbox should not have forgotten/ignored to put the logo on Maverick's F14.

Totally worth the price! Overall the detail and quality of the jets is pretty good. I just wish the F-14's vertical stablizers were made of different material. They are made of plastic and seem more flexible than the others and may break eventually.
