Easy and effective
I was skeptical of these type in line couplers for use on a high-pressure pool pump system. To my surprise they went on Easley and were perfect. I left the ground uncovered for a couple of weeks just to make sure they didn’t start leaking and even pushed and pulled on the pipe fittings to see if I can get it to leak. No leaks no problems.

Great for repairing irrigation line
This connector makes repairing irrigation pipes a lot easier. Looks like it will be stronger than compression type repair connectors ince the ends are glued in place.

Almost perfect
Like others have said, You will need a coupler for installation. The manufacture should just include one instead of customer having to make a separate purchase. Or worse, separate trip to the store for this cheap simple item.Installation of this was very easy, just need to plan things out, like how long of a pipe segment should you cut out, the order of the cement glue (make sure you have it within both ends before you completely glue in one side). Take time to go through the order of install so that you don’t make a mistake when the time comes.Overall, a great product for common issue. Adding a couple would make this a perfect 5 star item.

What a deal! My plumber charged me $89 for this same part PLUS another $800 for MY labor
I was glad to find these! When your water line was installed by the former owner, a DIY'er with the ability of a drunk monkey, who installed his own water line using PVC, pieces of electrical conduit, paper straws and horse snot for glue. My water line sprang a leak between the meter and the house (my side) so I found the leak, dug down 4-friggin-feetof dirt to it, used my air compressor and pumped air through the outside spigot with the meter valve closed, pumped air into the waterline and followed the bubbles back to the leak.Basically, my plumber showed up (in his brand new custom Dodge pickup with the automatic drop-down nerf bars) and pronounced the leak was exactly where I had already found it, went back to his truck and got one of these doohickeys, then installed it with pvc primer and cement and sat inside his truck texting and playing on his cell phone for half an hour while the glue dried. When he got done he helped shovel the dirt back into the hole, got back in his custom pickup and drove away...probably because he didn't have the nerve to look me in the eye and hand me an invoice for $840 for basically walking onto the battlefield after the smoke cleared and stabbing the wounded in the name of the crown.Next time, I'll keep my feathers numbered for just such an emergency. I'll have this part on-hand and finish the repair myself

It works
I read the reviews where some said it didn't work for various reasons. I have used slip fixes before and had no problems but this one had some new features so I thought maybe the manufacturer had messed them up. I used this with a tee off my main line and it worked perfectly with no leakage.

Great concept but leaks.
We were so excited to find this product. Working in a tight space, this seemed to be the answer. Unfortunately it leaks. We did order a second one hoping we just got a lemon. I will let you know how the second one goes.
