Thompson Chain Reference Bible: NKJV-burgundy

I bought this study Bible for my college-age son. He is majoring in religious studies and wanted a good translation as well as a study aid. I knew of the storied reputation of the Thompson Chain Reference Bible and was glad to get one in the New KJV. My son loves it and already is breaking it in.

Great bible. Love the chain references. Good cover. Quality paper. Also like the NKJV.

This Bible Study Guide is imperative, when I'm preparing to preach or teach. Every Bible scholar needs to avail themselves to this reference book.

I like everything about this Bible except that the previous owner wrote in it in Isaiah and some of the Psalms.

It was mailed straight away, and got to me very fast, and I like it. Perfect condition. This is a Nielsen edition. I own a KIRKBRIDE Thompson Chain Reference Bible as well, I find that a little handier for it includes the same content but overall smaller. Makes it easier to carry to church or a bible study when needed. Pages of the Nielsen edition are thinner. Needs more attention when reading or looking up things for study. Thompson Chain Reference Bible is the best study bible I came across over 10yrs of my walk with the Lord. Thank you for keeping this in perfect and new condition, and for fast delivery!

A brilliant Bible with Levant real grain leather. Text layout good and big enough to keep eyes fresh. Stays open flat pretty much most of the Bible. Thompson Chain Reference down outside and inner side of pages is brilliant. if I was stranded on a desert island with only 1 Bible - this would be the one. Only thing I would have changed is that I bought the Bible with the index tabs cut out - can be a bit annoying when turning pages as edge of pages are scalloped in different parts depending on where the tabs are. Thats only a minor niggle and is outweighed by all the good things. Quality of everything is brilliant. Sown Binding will last a lifetime. Well done Amazon and Kirkbride Bible Company.
