PROS-I have 85lb lab that eats a medium size kibble at 2 cups twice a day and this worked fine. Once all was set digitally, the unit as worked great.CONS-I had to set the amount of food at 2 1/4 cups to be able to get 2 cups of food so test out the amount multiple times to see how much food it is giving you. My pup knocked the whole unit over and dry food went everywhere so I suggest securing the unit to a surface if possible. The unit DOES NOT come with the plug so if you want to use the plug instead of batteries, you will have to purchase that separately. The bowl that comes with the unit was a bit small for my large dog so we ditched it, raised the unit up a bit as seen in pic so she has a easier time getting into the bowl.

It’s got a design flaw with larger breed dogs. When the food releases into the bowl it pools to that one area making it difficult for my dog to access the food. I watched him maneuvering his head and using his tongue to reach the kibble. The other part is that the cover over the release portal comes off from him struggling to get his block head in the bowl. Can he get his meal with effort? Yes, but he shouldn’t have to.The machine itself is easy enough to program and works properly. It gives me the ease that I don’t have to rush home to feed the dog.

The feeder functions as designed, as expected. I've got this feeder on a slightly higher elevation as my pittie is taller than the other 3 dogs. He hasn't figured out yet that this bowl is just for him, but he will. Then, this feeder will be just the right diet tool for him.

I just received this feeder today but I have already put it through an incredible stress test by running it for an hour straight to see if it could handle feeding my goats several times a day. The one thing I was looking for was a larger feed basin. Since the top of the feeder is exactly the same size as the bottom of a bucket and it almost snaps together, I put a bucket on top and put a little duct tape around it and it is working out amazing through testing. for now I'm going to give it five stars and recommend it to anyone and I will be back to give updates if anything changes after using it to feed my goats.

The last one i had had a shoot that lead the bits to the bowl and didn't stick out of the unit. Unless its at a angle and the portion is big it just sits under the shoot. My dog missed a lot due to this. Also the recording option is cute but the sound is horrible. Also I can't just turn one portion off and on it makes me go through all of them where my old one had 4 food times you could just turn off and on.

The media could not be loaded.  I have a Pit Bull and I also work full time+ as a Epidemiologist with a health department during a pandemic. Sometimes I’m not able to make it home within the timeframe that I like to feed Milo and this has fixed that problem! I love the play back voice message! I feel like he knows I love him even when I’m not there. He has removed the front cover because it was harder for him as a larger dog to eat around it, but even with that part removed it’s still working well! I recommend this product wholeheartedly!!!!

It was actually better that I have expected, really easy to set up and amazing for us the lazy people that doesn't want to wake up early to feed the dog.My only concern is that the portion might be a little bit different when it is served. So make sure you make some trails to get the desired amount of food. In my case for 1 cup I set it up to 1 1/2. Beside that, this is an AMAZING product!

Easy to set up and use.Easy to program.I reccomend securing to a stable post or wall so dog doesn't easily tip it over. There's directions from a guy here who expanded the capacity by using a bucket with the bottom cut out. That worked for me. Also, you may want to purchase the adaptor cord so the batteries can be backups. I also installed a wireless camera so I could watch my dog eat and have extra peice of mind.
